Being Malaysians, the Genting name is no stranger to us. Although the management of the Genting Group (UK) is separate to Genting Malaysia, there is a certain expectation when visiting one of the Genting Casinos (UK). We have visited Edinburgh, Birmingham and London’s, but by far the worse service was received here in Manchester on our first day of Chinese New Year. Bar staff were rude and unhappy, and also informed us that they were short of staff hence reason for asking us to deliver our own drinks. I made my order at the Bar only to be initially told by the staff that hot drinks can only be made by stopping one of their mobile waitors or waitresses. But after I stopped one of the waitresses to make my hot drink order, I was told I had to wait at the bar (where I was before) to collect my own drink. Don’t get why the staff who initially attended to me could not have just given me my hot drink if this was the case. Unlike other Genting Casino in the UK, this place has by far the worse service and attitude towards long distance visiting customers especially on such an auspicious day of the year. Strongly encourage NOT to visit as it would be a waste of your time and effort. Your celebration and money will be better spent in other neighbouring casinos. What a disappointment to the Genting name!

Great Casino. Friendly staff. Quick drinks service. Recommended for a friendly fun environment for poker games especially. Professional dealers and well ran tournaments make it a nice environment to play in.

Regular casino visitors and this is the first place we have ever been where all the gaming staff (except for a dealer and inspector) we're miserable as hell. Lucky thing was it meant we only spent £50 and left

This casino is located in a prime spot in the centre of Manchester which makes it very popular and can get busy. It's clean and very presentable with all your favourite table games including Blackjack, Roulette and 3 Card Poker and there is also a good slot area and a card room at the far end for Poker, both tournament and cash games are played but there are only 2 tournament games a week. HOWEVER, this doesn't mean it's any good! The staff are rude, it takes forever to get a drink from the floor valets. If you are a keen poker player then I would definitely recommend......SOMEWHERE ELSE. The guy on the poker room desk was too busy chatting away to other staff members to care what was going on. The dealers were complacent and you could genuinely feel that they didn't want to be there, also they were allowing a great number of rule breaks from players. The poker room serves free food to poker players on a Thursday night to be enjoyed during the break, but forget it. It was brought out almost 10 minutes before the break even began, there were non-players who were helping themselves and there was no food left by the break as there was no control over the portion sizes, and most players where just piling the food on their plates like they hadn't eaten for a week or so, of course I realise this is down to the rudeness and greed of the customers, but considering the amount of players you would think there would be supervision over how much people were allowed so as to take in consideration for all, but NO. I would avoid Thursday night poker there altogether there to be honest, badly run, rule breaks and staff who don't care. You can really tell the managers don't care about customers or customer service as the place is in such a good and vibrant location it's guaranteed custom, so they have no reason to. It is a good place to go and gamble if you are in the centre of Manchester but don't go in expecting to be treated as a customer, merely an addition to the people already in the venue.

Not great, not bad either. Casino service is poor. Staff are dull and do not smile. Definitely not visiting again.
