Very very busy A&E when I arrived I had a very long wait due to this 20hours and they struggled to find a bed. Everyone was working their socks off and remaining professional despite the pressure they were under. When I was admitted on ward they lovely with me. All round brilliant staff and just to say a very big thank you
Amazing experience with my 15 year old son. Jester was so good with him and me and is a credit to the hospital. Dr Tom was kind, compassionate, thorough and professional. We are so lucky to have the NHS and these excellent professionals. Thank you for everything you do for us in challenging circumstances and an underfunded system
So grateful to all the staff here - I visited A&E and was seen incredibly quickly even though I came over the Christmas period when I can imagine staffing is difficult. The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all brilliant, very kind and empathetic. A big thank you!!
I'm grateful for the NHS, and I appreciate that they are currently very underfunded and nurses and hospital staff are very underpaid, but a job is a job. There is no excuse when it comes to patient care, especially when you have people in agony in the waiting rooms, and patients that are extremely uncomfortable. The staff were rude and unprofessional, most were just standing around having conversations with each other not about patients. Even asking nurses for help is difficult. They roll their eyes and act so reluctant to help with even the smallest things, such as helping to find a wheelchair. It is an understatement to say that this hospital deserves even 1 star. Of course, there are still a minority of staff that still have passion for this line of work, and still show empathy towards patients and act professionally, but I can only say that to a select few.
Visiting my husband who is a long stay patient in a unit at the back of the hospital. We go to the main hospital to the volunteers Cafe. They are always happy in their work, pleasant to talk to and give you plenty of notice when they are going to close. All snacks and drinks can be purchased.
Our 11 year old grandson hurt his foot this evening 3rd Feb 23, we took him to A&E The reception, nurses & doctor's were excellent. Thank you all for your kindness and super efficiency. You all put him at ease and was distracted with the crutches with he loved and helped him forget about the pain...excellent team at Macclesfield...thank you....the grandparents x
They're all great in the radiology department, friendly, efficient, and relatively short time from referral to appointment, and report back with GP again relatively quickly. And all that while they're under the current NHS general underfunding understaffing thanks to the Tories pressures! Thank you all very much.
Visited on Easter Bank Holiday. I can’t speak nightly enough of the wonderful care I received in A&E, SDEC and ward 5. The gynae team were excellent. Big thank you to everyone who sorted me out and operated on me. I was scared and teary but everyone reassured me and put me at ease. Sarah , Janine, Nathan , Jude, Tammie, Alexis and Mel to make but a few.
Attended Endoscopy Unit yesterday for a procedure. Everywhere spotlessly clean, lovely warm greetings, nursing care wonderful. Mr Mallik was absolutely lovely, so kind. Huge thank you to Mr Mallick and all the wonderful nursing team there yesterday morning.
Macclesfield A&E Saturday evening. Cannot thank them enough. Took my Mum, 91 years young. They treated her with kindness and quickly diagnosed the problem. Thank you all so much.
