About

Real italian gelato in the heart of London - Borough Market and Portobello road.

Story

Our gelateria was born in Rimini, on Italy's Adriatic coast, in 1987.
the name "3BIS" comes from the address of the small laboratory where our passion for gelato was first realised; we have kept it unchanged over the years to remind us of our roots and the original artisan way we realise each of our products.
Bringing our experience to London, we decided to export a name which has been associated with the satisfaction of our customers for over 25 years.

Gelateria located right next to Borough market in London. There was a 10min queue when I visited on a sunny summer Saturday but it was worth it for the lovely, smooth ice cream. No ice crystals to be found! They also sell crepes but I didn't try them so can't comment. There is a small indoor dining area that seats about 12. A little on the expensive side but to be expected I suppose given the location.
Stumbled across this gelateria after having dinner in Borough and what a little gem it is! The gelato is delicious and tastes super authentic. I got a special cone for £6.50 which comes with 3 flavours of your choice. I had pistachio, vanilla and kinder, and they were all incredible! I would definitely recommend 3Bis!
I've been to Borough market so many times and I thought I'd explored and seen all the sellers. In some corner of the market "hidden" in some street, we found this little Italian gelateria which surprised us, but it was the best discovery of the evening ; Their gelato is soo delicious and reminds me of the gelato you get in Italy. Velvety creamy and full of flavours. They had some exciting flavours but also the common ones. I was adamant to have salted caramel and the staff recommend a flavour that would go well with my selected flavour. She also recommended if I wanted to taste the other flavour and I kindly declined as I made my mind up...lol.Don't do the same mistake I did. Try the different flavours and mix them. I recommend mixing salted caramel with mascarpone and figs...yummy
One of the best gelatos in London Pistachio was so rich and nutty, pineapple was fresh and sweet. Frozen yogurt was lovely and tangy. Staff were friendly.
Absolutely delicious Gelato! So many flavours and all that have tried so far have been amazing! Think my favourite combo is chocolate and raspberry. A must try if you are near Borough Market!
Hit the spot when we were after a post-globe snack. The ice cream is top quality, which means it's not cheap. The flavours are punchy and delightful, my firm favourite being the nutty pistachio.

Their ice cream is really good and we always like to have some when we visit borough market. Kids really like their ice cream but I just wish if they can introduce kids size as I found the small size still big for them. Tried kinder flavour last time and it was really good. Happy they opened again as they were closed in our last visit to the market. Staff are always nice.
Lovely little place and great selection of coffees and desserts! It’s a shame that there are not enough sittings we found a spot luckily! Will go back!
Super creamy ice cream. I mostly liked pistachio, which was delicious. mascarpone fig wasn’t really my flavour.
