Exquisite customer attention and the best hand-made shoes you can get. The experience of shopping in their Savile Row location was simply perfect from start to finish. Indeed high on the price range, but the quality, comfort, fit, and for-a-lifetime shoes are indeed worth it.
Was my first time in London and I can’t miss a trip to Gaziano Girling! Loving my new pair of black Churchill oxford. Will be back for another pair when i return.
One of the finest shoe makers but come at a very expensive price point. Gaziano & Girling is a unique shoe company. Founded in 2006 by Tony Gaziano & Dean Girling, it has become the most innovative and versatile shoemaker in England, combining handcrafting and manufacturing skills to put itself at the top of both the bespoke and benchmade industries. Tony and Dean worked for a variety of bespoke makers, designers and Northampton manufacturers before coming together to launch Gaziano & Girling. Their aim was to bring a new look and quality standard to a sometimes somnolent industry, with fresh designs in bespoke and unprecedented handwork in their benchmade shoes. The result is beautifully made footwear that suits men both young and old, conservative and contemporary. Traditional English models are updated with touches of continental flair, in the last, a shaped waist and design elements that together raise a functional shoe into a work of art.
My experience of G&G has always been exceptional and I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for the finest shoes that you can buy. From my first meeting with Simon to working with his colleague Jason I've always been treated with the utmost professionalism, respect and care. I recently took delivery of my third pair of shoes which have now slotted in nicely to the collection. The best thing about the G&G product is that the shoes never rub or cause pain. They also stand the test of time and are well worth the price tag. Keep up the good work chaps - I look forward to seeing you again!
Certainly one of the best shoe makers in the world. I currently have a collection of eight pairs of G&G in a range of colours from vintage rioja, chestnut, cherry, black, vintage oak, midnight blue and mole suede. Quality of the shoes are fantastic; an absolute joy to wear and maintain they take on polish very well. The sales people in the shop are very friendly and offer a lot of advice about shoes. Even happy to chat about all things sartorial too. I have also taken in shoes back to the store to be resoled and refurbished to come back 'as new' impressive service. Beautiful shop and good to see the bespoke models on permanent display.
I visited this shop to order an MTO, which turned out to become one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The staffs are so helpful and engaging that I’ve totally enjoyed deciding the details from myriads of options. Needless to say, the quality of the shoes are impeccable and they are outstandingly beautiful. This was such a contrast to the one in a famous shop on Jermyn street, which was utterly unsatisfactory even though they’ve got a long history and cost more than G&G.
Had very negative experiences in this store on Thursday 17/5 The overall impression the senior shop attendant gave was that infamous moment in the movie Pretty Woman. Especially when the senior male shop assistant/attendant quoted the price of bespoke shoes. The young lady attendant was pleasant enough, but it’s obvious she was not well trained and couldn’t answer some of my question. When I approached the senior male attendant not serving anybody else at that time he didn’t help me but instead directed me back to the young lady colleague. When I eventually chose a pair of made to order I was not given the choice to choose the colour of the inner lining. I found this possibility out after I made the order and got home and had a look at their website. After I paid and left the premise I realised I forgot to ask for metal toe tip on the sole. I went back to add this request to my order, and said attendant spoke to me from behind a wall partition without bothering to show his face. Any doubt I had about being treated unprofessionally and discourteously was washed away I did feel initially my discomfort could possibly be me being over sensitive I gave myself some time to reflect on this before committing this negative feedback in public, and having talked to friends and family for second opinion. I then regrettably took the decision to cancel the order and asked for refund. I said ‘regrettable’ as I do like the samples on display at the shop window. But I can’t justify spending £1600 in a shop where the assistants treated me in such bad basic manners.
I’ve been a customer of G&G for nearly 10 years now, and they’ve never disappointed. Top-class shoes made and sold by top-class people. I couldn’t be happier to wear G&G.
This is not a shoe shop. This is a museum of shoes. Every pair unique and a piece of art. Lovely staff as well. Almost the most expensive RTW shoe you can buy. And it is worth every penny. Long live G & G.
Offering the absolute highest quality in handcrafted footwear by the world's premier footwear company. Gaziano and Girling's quality is only matched by its incredible staff Jason. 5 star company from top to bottom.
