Absolutely appalled with the malpractice that has taken place, I brought my cat in who had recently given birth and her 6 kittens they were aware she was breastfeeding. She had been sneezing and had a sore throat they told us she had cat flu and prescribed her antibiotics that should NOT have been given to a cat that is feeding her babies as it stated on the box as well as tablets that were EXPIRED!!!!! I raised a complaint no one got back to me, due to this we lost all 6 kittens!!! So disgusted and distraught over the neglect of this vets actions, no remorse or care for their actions, do not go to this vets!!!!
Fantastic service 5* from Jane and Archie. We brought our pet in for he's first visit and the service from getting him registered to him being seen and treated by archie was absolutely amazing. Really helpful and informative they both answered any questions or queries we had. Would definitely recommend the vet to anyone. Keep up the great work
If I could give -0 I would. Brought my cat here 3 days ago to be told over the phone the bill would be £63 for consulation not including meds if needed. When I got there they needed to take bloods, they handed me the results on a piece of paper which I didn’t understand. He didn’t explain the results he just said his temperature was high 44!! He was severley dehydrated. That was it. The total bill was £220 upwards. He basically said pay £150 to have him put down or pay £100s for medication I then proceeded to ask how much for the medication he repeated the awnser £100s. He gave no name of the medication and bascially said go home think about it. He was clearly pre judging me for some reason, no idea why because I paid the full bill before I left with no diagnosis and basically told take my cat home and wait for the worst to happen. It was neglectful and disgusting. I also have children who love and adore my cat as much as I do. It was disgusting and vile the way we was all treated as a whole. I brought my cat home and tried from 8am the next morning to explore every avenue, as we still didn’t have a diagnosis, medication name and his condition was detoriating so much, we finally got an out of hours appointment tonight and sadly had to put him down!! I feel like this could have been avoided If i had been listened to but I wasn’t! Just palmed off and basically told to leave with no awsners. Appalling and I will be taking the complaint higher and higher. You can’t treat animals the way you do and humans! Really really shocked! The lovely vets we took him to in the end was shocked and appalled, his temp was 44!! He was severley dehydrated which was getting worse and worse as the days were going on. Every vets we spoke to throughout the course of the day was shocked at the treatment we recieved. They offered nothing just ‘meds’. No offer of hospitilization or rehyrdate him or Antibioitcs. Nothing at all. You should be absolutley ashamed of yourselves and the way you have conducted yourselves as a whole.
This is the third and final time!!! The first time I was given someone who had no idea what the first thing was about checking a dog, inexperienced and not qualified for even touching a dog!!! The second time was also an inexperienced and unqualified ‘vet’ looking at my cat. I had just gotten her and wanted to know how far along she was as she was pregnant. The ‘vet’, after prodding squeezing and throwing my cat around, said she was half way through in correct and started prescribing all sorts of medication for no reason!! Just creating a larger bill at the end of it!! The third and final time… I came in about a week ago with my lost and found cat to which I received medication for and where I was being pressured to get a £200 blood test otherwise my cat would die!! I also asked for flea/tic drops and worming tablet so that I could give them to my cat at home. To which YOUR vet said there was none. She said there was no flea drops left and no worming tablets left AT ALL. But still, she insisted that I let her take my feline to the back in her carrier with no supervision while I wait at the reception to give her the flea spray they give to kittens which apparently work in the same way herself. Me, trustingly her blindly after she kept insisting and pushing for it let her do it herself, not knowing what she actually did if she even did anything. But I can tell you for a fact that she DID NOT use any sort of flea/tic drops AND I was charged a stupid amount for this too!!! I HAVE A 5MONTH OLD BABY WHO HAS NOW SUFFERED BECAUSE OF YOUR INCOMPETENCE… now ALL my pets have fleas and tics and now my baby is in such a condition that is heartbreaking!!! On top of that, my cat was traumatised when you brought her back to me, behaving in a way she wouldn’t normally!!! My poor baby is so poorly because of you!! How dare you rob people who trust you after promising to look after them and their pets! I even told your vet that I had a baby at home so could not stay for her to give her anything! I wanted to give my cat her drops myself!! Once again I am having to pay for flea/tick treatment because of your vet’s inability to do the right thing!! I will be taking my pets to another group, this place is a joke!!! It’s not the first time I have paid such a large amount and gotten absolutely NOTHING from it except pain and suffering!!!!
Since moving vets this is the first time I have had to bring one of dogs. He is usually a very nervous dog but right away, we were met by friendly staff who put ourselves and Archie at ease. This was continued when we met the vet who made archie feel comfortable, didn't try to push products on us, explained possible treatments and costs, and was knowledgeable and friendly throughout. We ledt feeling like even the vet had Archies best interests in mind opposed to trying to rack up the highest bill. Best vets visit since he was a pup, now he's 8! Would definitely recommend.
Ridiculous how much they are charging for cat boosters now, £70 for my cats yearly booster, last june my wife was charged £60.97 for booster, flea and worm treatment. I get things go up in price but you should probably tell people when they book instead of nearly giving them a heart attack when it comes to paying! I won't be coming back
Laura is a lovely person putting my dog Bruno and myself at ease, dealing with the problem quickly and efficiently. Patrick in reception also very nice. Thanks guys.
Parker was attacked by 2 x dogs and I rushed into the vets, distraught, 2 x vets came immediately and took control of parker assessing him and making him comfortable. Treatment of Parker was first class and the staff were brilliant keeping me informed every step of his treatment. Parker is now on the mend thanks to the vets who took care of him. I would highly recommend this vets to everyone who asks.
I went with my cat, they diagnosed totally wrong, even didn’t check properly and been asking for £500 just to take one tooth out. We went to hospital then the said nothing wrong with teeth it was mouth infection. Their consultation fee was too high, not treated fairly.
The vet I saw was very helpful and professional, as was the lady at reception.
