The most disgusting tasteless chinese I have ever eaten, sorry tasted as didn’t eat it. Never had a chowmein, chopsuey and fried rice made with gravy!! Curry sauce was watery and tasteless a waste of £23
For the second time in a row we have found foreign hairs in our order the first time my daughter found a black hair in the chips and the following time I found a long black hair in my salt and pepper chicken wings we decided not to finish the takeaway, safe to say I will not be ordering from here again.
Normally a massive Indian food fanatic, so not had a Chinese for ages. Just fancied a change, so thought why not. Well what a great decision. I only come up to Garstang seasonally as I have a caravan up here. Indian may still be my first choice, this place is now second choice. I had special fried rice with S&S sauce. One of my colleagues has just what's app me with ' Best he has ever had'. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was the chicken slices on top where a little tough, but the rest was great. Good portion size.
Nice food. Reasonable prices
Nice Tasty Food, good portions, always seems busy with telephone orders no delivery service, so sometimes you can be waiting a while in shop before your order is ready. I have had food on a regular basis with no issues, I have tried four Chinese takeaways in the surrounding area and in my opinion this is the best one, so the only one I use now.
Great food good portions
I have just had the worst special curry and chips I have ever had. The curry was bland with very little meat. The chips were leathery, barely warm and obviously reconstituted. Nothing like as good as it used to be. They won't see me again.
We were only passing through, having a quick drink outside the royal oak, saw the chippy and plenty of people going in and out, so thought we would have a like treat of a chop suey roll each. Ordered 1 veg and 1 meat. Complete disappointment.. No flavour or seasoning at all. For a place called chop suey I expected much better.. Sorry.. not good at all
Visiting family nearby -- saw mixed reviews - not many options in and around Garstang so we ordered.What a pleasant surprise, we all had different meals, and they were tasty, ample portions, and hot. We got exactly cwhat we ordered and would certainly order again.
Stopped off on the way home from a day trip. Only wanted chips but the menu was quite varied. Seemed popular with the locals as it was very busy
