Garlieston Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
"An ideal location for a relaxing holiday, Garlieston Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite is both peaceful and picturesque. One section of the caravan park offers beautiful views overlooking the bay, while the other provides a more secluded and sheltered space for those who enjoy extra privacy and quiet. The caravan site is well located for fishing, boating and cycling, and you can enjoy beautiful coastal walks from the site. This site is well-equipped for both caravanners and motorhomers, and has ample peaceful dog walks nearby."

On night 2 of 4 and really enjoying it. The site is kept immaculate from the grass, the pitches and the toilet block. Wardens are very helpful and pleasant. Great pub with food that allows dogs and it's less than a 2 minute walk from site. Lovely quiet little village. Will definitely be coming again.
This site is a true gem with excellent facilities and possibly the best wardens that we have met in all of the club sites we have stayed at. The showers and toilets were very well maintained and the landscaping was first class. What was absolutely fantastic though were the floral displays, outstanding, and all down to the warden's hard work. The site is situated on the harbour of the village and right at its heart. It is an absolutely outstanding location and one which everyone should visit at least once in their lives.
Lovely place to pitch up we had a lovely view the staff are friendly and it's near a superb pub which I have mentioned on here the Harbour Inn.
What an amazing campsite with such helpful wardens. Ann and her partner who are the wardens of the park were so helpful and an assent to the company. Its a small site but its location is adorable. So glad I visited and can't wait to return.
We stayed here for 3 nights in August with our 6yr old and would of loved to stay longer. The site is split in 2 sections walled garden over road from the reception and harbour side which is same side as reception which offers some sea views. There is a toilet block in each area which are both clean. Laundry and information room in harbour side area. The hosts were friendly and helpful as were other residents. There isn't a shop onsite but is about ten minutes walk at top of the village, pub in village and chip van on a Friday. Lovely area for walking, biking, beach, rock pools, geocaching. All in all a lovely site and a great location as long as you are prepared for no shops, ice cream van etc.
Great site in a beautiful location. What makes it even more special are the outstanding wardens at this site, Judith and Edgar. They are so friendly and welcoming, working very hard to keep the site in a lovely condition they could be seen late at night working in the office no doubt trying to keep on top of this new booking system!! .We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and will definitely be back next year. Thank you Judith and Edgar
Fantastic site , Edgar and Judith are totally lovely and friendly. Site very clean and tidy. Nice and quiet with sea views or a bit more sheltered in the walled garden. We will definitely be making this a regular place to go.
Beautiful site, not very big, but lovely and quiet in a tiny village. Excellent amenities on site, very very clean, lovely staff, this has become my favourite site so far, love it.
A beautiful and peaceful campsite just as I remembered from a few years ago. The views across the harbour and the bay are wonderful. The tide goes out so far that you can hardly see the sea. When it comes back in again the water is almost up to the edge of the pitches. The toilet block is lovely and clean but is beginning to look tired. It's time the Club refurbished it. Very friendly wardens who keep the site in tip top condition and there is a wonderful display of hanging flower boxes. The village is very sleepy but friendly. Just one pub but it serves meals. The village shop has now closed unfortunately but the fuel station on the way into the town has basic supplies and is approx half a mile from the site. You can order milk, bread and papers from them for delivery the next day. A great beach for exploring only 2 minutes from the site. Beware if you have children the tide comes in and out VERY quickly and you can soon be cut off. Also there is VERY deep water in places around the campsite. All fenced off but we all know that children love to climb. With supervision this is an exciting site and area for children. Lots of walks and cycling too.
Nice site, staff excellent amenities well kept and clean, wall garden best place to pitch, Harbour Inn for a nice meal or just a drink. Nice walks along coastline. 3 mile walk to Cruggleton Castle ruin, return via Galloway House and gardens, 7 miles round trip. Closest shop at fuel station at start of village 10min walk closes early Saturday and Sunday.
