Chicken fillet burger was a large goujon and dry bap. No mayo, lettuce or any effort. Also very greasy.. won’t order from here again. I can’t comment on ‘atmosphere’ as per Google reviews as this was a delivery. UberEats offers a better BurgerKing alternative.. sorry but I’m local and this isn’t good enough.
So disappointed with food. Ordered Chicken Maryland and the staff clearly didn’t time the cooking of the different elements correctly. Majority of food was clearly ready at least 7 minutes before final bit and kept warm, which left chips soggy. No communication to me or apologies on the delay of the food and I do appreciate they were busy but I clearly heard one member of staff say she had elements of the meal ready and then the long wait. Batter was overdone on chicken portion, peas were tasteless, I won’t be returning.
Been a growing concern that my closest local chippy that used to be everyone's favourite has went so far down hill , do you know people are purposely driving to coleraine just to order from gareths even tho they have one right next door because the quality and taste of the food had fallen dramatically over the past 5 to 10 years and the cheek iv got from some of the staff especially on the phone. This message isn't to detour anyone from gareths there food is nice this is more asking the owner of the franchise to sort out my gareths and make it so that any time I bite into a nugget it dosnt taste like you've used the same cooking oil from when you opened shop. Sort the place out please so I don't need to goto coleraine anytime a chippy is needed.
Telephone wasn’t picking up, went in and placed a group order, most of the food was good but rather expensive. I think the biggest disappointment was the fish “supper” - £14 for a large fish and a poor amount of chips see image
Clean and tidy place and the battered sausage was okay but that’s about it for the positives.nChips were dry, I might as well have had oven chips, and the portions are small for the price.nAtmosphere of the place is off and the cooks and server had no customer service.
