I have many family members buried here, as recent as a week ago. It is most likely that my parents, siblings, relatives and myself will be buried here too when Allah wills. However today I can not forget what I saw when I went to visit the graveyard. People smoking weed near the graves, littering, women walking around without the respectful head covering, people where treating the graveyard like a car park at a night club. This made my blood boil and I had to go and sit in the car and do zikr and ask Allah for forgiveness and patience. Me being upset or angry isn't the reason for this review. But the way the management need to upgrade their systems, signage and security to make sure that our lost loved ones are not disrespected by people treating the beautiful gardens of peace like this. People had to even walk through the crowd of weed smoke and roll up smoke filling the air just to get to the grave of their loved ones. My elderly mother had to walk through people smoking and blowing it infront of us casually talking and laughing and enjoying their drugs while we had to walk through the atmosphere they created and permitted with the lack of management that even my elderly mother was going around telling people not to litter but there was too many and it was happening everywhere that one woman can't control the crowd. I have to also add that usually the gardens of peace is a peaceful place and full of support and guidance and I've never experienced this poor management from them before. It's usually kept clean and workers remind public about covering up appropriately and not to smoke or litter etc but today 20/12/22 at 3 50pm to 4 30pm it was a complete circus and I sincerely request the management to have more bigger and clearer signage in the entrances. Security posts around the graveyyard to ensure people follow rules and not smoking or drinking or littering. Provide more bins if possible. And to remind people to keep noise levels to a talking level and not to raise voices, laughing excessively etc there should also be a cut off point when the car park is full because today was a complete hazard with people flooding the paths and vehicles moving everywhere and a coach struggling to exit safely. The management need to step up and never allow this to repeat itself as now my mother and myself feel scarred and disgraced that it was allowed to happen. I didn't take photos or videos because I hoped it wasn't needed. I'm sure the management know exactly what i am saying as what happened today was unavoidable and blatantly wrong on so many levels. May Allah guide and forgive us all.
I lost my best friend at a young age she is here close to my house I love and miss her dearly rest in peace Fatima until we meet again
Yesterday I have attended a community funeral at the Garden of Peace in Chigwell. One of the busiest that multiple human burial services I have ever attended. I have experienced an amazing place. The assistance and the location was amazing. Therefore I have given it a 5 star and recommend if inevitably unfortunately your loved one does to bury them over here.
My dear mother Julie is burried here Allah Yarhamha inchallah , The garden of peace is very nice . May they all rest in peace and inchallah in el jannah . Allah yarhamhom
Really well laid out graveyard. Well organised and staff from the cemetery were on hand to help with the arrangements along each step of the way. Keep up the good work.
very well kept and organised. The staff are attentive and on point no hiccups whatsoever. The only down side I would say is they treat the whole process like a business, well it is a business perhaps but when relatives come to bury their loved ones, they deserve to get involved with everything. Not just stand and observe from afar like some theatre performance. God bless the departed
My older brother died unexpectedly in the UK. The level of communication I got from reaching out was beyond top notch. I can not thank this place enough.
Jzk brothers for maintaing the graves. May Allah swt bless you for looking after our deceased Ya Rabb look after my most beloved mother and bestfriend and grant her jannah tul firdaws, Ya Rabb please reunite me with her when You are pleased with me Ameen Ya Rabbul Alamin.
Garden of peace, well organised.ZazakAllah khairan. May AllahSWTgrant them jannatul ferdaus all the Muslims.Ameen
The cemetery looks exceptionally tidy and all graves uniform. This gives it a much more aesthetic look and doesn’t look cluttered. Gives the impression that everyone is equal rather than having ones gravestone overshadowing another.
