Great library - evocative of what old libraries used to be all about - not the noisy hell-hole most of them have become ;) Good selection of books too from what I have seen so far. Staff are perfectly friendly and helpful and the whole place has a nice atmosphere - love the old-fashionedness of it all - the building in particular. Cannot imagine why someone would give one star.

drastically need new computers here or a wireless printer would not go a miss, yep lets forget the computer most phones are more powerful these days

Beautiful building, great books, helpful staff. Previous reviewer must have gone in on an off day! One of the few remaining libraries in the borders to have real librarians who know their stuff!
