Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Gaijin Dumpling House. Everything about the experience was on point - food was served hot and delicious, service was efficient and welcoming. The menu isn’t extensive but it means Gaijin focuses on doing a few things really well.nnMy only advice is that the restaurant focuses on making some cosmetic improvements. The seating area and general decor could do with a bit more life.
Some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. This place isn’t about flashy, expensive decor, it’s just great quality - DELICIOUS - food.nAnd of course the staff were all incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
Went for dinner for the first time after getting recommended.nI had the chicken and prawn wontons. We had asked for the food to be spicy and it was exactly what we asked for. The portion size was really good and filling. The vegetable gyoza were ok.nThe katsu chicken was crispy in the new goreng katsu. It was a good fusion of food.nThe cheesy chips? we’re also spicy and enjoyable.nAn overall good experience a nice small cozy location. Good service as well. No long wait.nI would go again.nWould suggest to book in advance.
Food was sooo good and the staff were soooo nice. Personally talked to the chef and he is a great guy! He knows his Asian dishes well with a great deal of experience in the culinary scenes of Hong Kong, the Philippines, and other Asian countries, so this restaurant definitely knows what it's talking about!nnWould definitely go back here to try their other dishes!
Great place, very friendly staff and really nice food. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they included a service charge without asking us. It wasn't much but it's the principle.
