When purchasing my flat, Gaby Hardwicke were recommended by my mortgage broker and I feel so fortunate to have been looked after by Robert (Benton) throughout the process. 

Although on paper it was a straightforward transaction, it threw up an unforeseen - and fairly unique - anomaly, but Robert dealt with it with swiftly, with absolute professionalism, utmost practicality and a fair bit of very welcome humour. I felt that I was in the safest of hands and, at times, extremely grateful that he was acting on my behalf and not the other way round! 

I'm delighted to say that I've had an entirely pain free purchasing experience (and a very well-priced one, too) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert and Gaby Hardwicke to any one of my friends or family.

Did the conveyancing for both sale and purchase with no problems and at a reasonable price.  They paid the balance into our account within hours of the sale completing. The only constructive criticism we might make is that a few more comforting emails along the way to keep us content that all was progressing would have been welcome, but everything fell into place in the end as they assured us it would.

Having found, and deciding to purchase a house in the Hastings area, I was recomended by my estate agent to locally based solicitors- GabyHardwicke.

After explaining that my house sale (elsewhere in the country) was already 8-9 weeks into the process and going well - I was assured by the GabyHrdwicke solicitor that he could catch-up with my sale and hoped that I could complete on my purchase at the same time!!

Fabulous - Yes - it has happened!!!

They are a big firm and look professional, but don't be fooled!! 
They don't look after your interests and are only interested in billing you money, and lots of it!! 
even after they stopped working for you they manage to raise more invoices for time ! 
They don't look after your interests and are only interested in billing hours.
No personal approach or understanding of circumstances and very bad customer service!
