AMAZING. a real family run business, everyone was so friendly and helpful especially as it was their first day back after their holiday. As requested on the website I called ahead as I needed both vegan and gf food. Everything is cooked in vegetable oil, the fryers are all separate and very well maintained. The portions were massive and I appreciated the advice to only order 1 large chips not 2! I had a pea fritter for the first time in about 10 years and I could have cried with happiness. The food was delicious, I felt that my allergies and dietary requirements were catered for amazingly and it was lovely to meet such a wonderful family who work so hard and take the pride that they deserve in what they do. Sadly I don't love locally but I will be returning whenever I am on the east coast.
Good fish and chips with friendly staff. One of the only places in Bridlington that does it in vegetable oil for pescetarians.
Called in recently on a recommendation, can honestly say the best fish and chips I've ever had, my husband opted for the fish butty which he thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely worth a visit.
always love getting a Hull Pattie. Best chip shop in brid I can actually get chips as a vegetarian - a tough feat elsewhere in brid!. The Reece's are lovely and always welcoming. Dealt with being busy and understaffed really well! Vegetarian options: plenty of choice- order in advance!
Tried most of the chippys in Brid since moving here and, while they're all pretty decent, Gabbys is far and away my favourite. Fish is always light and perfectly cooked and the portion sizes never disappoint.
By far one the best tasting fish and chips I've had in a very long time! Staff are very friendly and I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in Bridlington
Great selection of vegan options, as well as non-vegan. Lovely staff. Food was amazing. Try the jackfruit curry! Portions are huge, so consider a size down if you want to finish it all. Vegetarian options: Great vegan/veggie menu. Pea fritter, banana blossom and jackfruit curry all great! Parking: Plenty of on-street parking, often right outside.
Absolutely excellent place. Not only is the staff great, their selection of food is top notch, the burgers and cheesy chips are lovely. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place.
Top draw fish and chips , fish and batter very tasty and portions are huge. We will be back for sure
Super chippy, not cooked in beef dripping for those with veggie preferences, friendly and generous portions.
