Kate and the team at G Sellers are incredible. The care and attention that they gave my boyfriend from the first moment of contact was so special and something I needed as I could no longer do this. I was safe in the knowledge that he was safely with them. The care that was extended to me and his family was exceptional, nothing was too much, and everything was discussed openly, and we had a clear idea of what was happening. So important at a time when everything is a haze. We were able, with their assistance create a day that was personal to him and those that love him. On the day of the celebration, I watched and was so touched by the dignity and sensitivity Kate and the team showed to him. And the care that they extended to us. I absolutely recommend Kate and the team at G Sellers. Their care, professionalism and humanity is something that I won’t forget and I am so glad that I was recommended them.
Kate handled the arrangements of our late dad's funeral. She managed everything very professionally and with a lot of sensitivity. She was always available and very organised. She made, what was a very difficult experience, less daunting. I wanted to thank her and G Seller for everything that was done to make my dad's funeral service and cremation a beautiful and uplifting experience. From the initial contact with Andy at G Seller, our family received nothing but kindness, compassion and support when arranging our beloved Mum’s funeral. Their understanding and professionalism was outstanding and made a very difficult time more manageable. Nothing was too much trouble and the time, thought and care taken by Andy in delivering a perfect service and committal is something we will be forever grateful for. We also used the fantastic on-site facilities, the Barsby Chapel and Catering suite, which again could not be faulted. Over a number of years, my family has had occasion to use the services of G Seller Funeral Directors, when we have unfortunately suffered bereavements. I am very pleased that we made use of their services, as even though our sad events were separated by some years, the consistent attention to detail, compassion and absolute professional services G Seller delivered to us demonstrated the same high standards on each occasion. They are second to none. Everything about their organisation delivers care and support. Their staff are kind and very supportive and I would recommend this business to all.
Exceptional professional service on all levels of this family run company. From looking after our loved ones completely with the highest dignity and respect, knowing our family members are resting here brings a lot of comfort. They also offer bereavement support. The Barsby Chapel and reception suite are simply unmatched in the area. You really feel genuinely cared for here by the staff whose attention to details and any wishes and requirements are adhered to. I can highly recommend Sellers to you. They have served the town well for a long time and they know the area inside out.
After the death of my Father at Moat House, the team from G Seller and Co. arranged to take him into their care. The professional and compassionate manner in which they assisted during this difficult period was much appreciated by all members of my Family. Dad had been operational with Bomber Command during World War 2 and our Funeral Director, Kevin arranged for Standard Bearers to form a Guard of Honour and for the coffin to be draped with the RAF flag. One very special touch on the day of the funeral will be forever in my memory. Dad always wore a bow tie and Kevin arranged for the driver and bearers all to wear bow ties. A gesture from the Sellers “family” I will never forget. Thank you to Joseph, Kevin and all the team for giving Dad a very special farewell.
Perfect service from the team at Sellers. Right from the moment I rang and spoke to Kate to inform them that Mum had passed we were treated with respect and nothing was too much trouble. Through the whole process we were treated like family. Mum didn’t want a religious service, just a family remembrance – Sellers delivered on this taking our every request on board and delivering perfectly. We had previously used Kate and the team at Sellers when dad had passed 16 month previously so knew it would be good, that time we'd held the service at Countesthorpe, this time we decided to hold the remembrance in The Barsby Service Chapel, this was so personal and relaxing, everything was conducted with as much if not more dignity than going to the Crematorium, it felt like it was just for mum with no other family waiting to come in when we’d been processed. Just a small family affair as mum wanted. We as a family would highly recommend Sellers, have a look at their chapel as an alternative it’s well worth it. Thank you to everyone for making us feel part of your family..
I can't thank G Sellers enough for the kindness and respect shown to us on the death of my husband David. They helped the family through what has been the most difficult time of my life. Thank you Kevin and all the team at Sellers.
We commissioned G Seller & Co to replace an old Memorial Stone in Chesterfield. The service provided from beginning to end was excellent. The staff were polite and paid great care and attention to detail. We were kept informed at all times. The price was also very competitive.
