The battery fitted by Nissan at new 13 odd years, ago completely failed outside our home not far from Scott Cars workshop. We have never used the firm before but without hesitation there was an offer to call round and check the car out pretty much straight away. The battery was changed and an interim service carried out as a precaution, all within a few hours and at a fair price. Mr Scott provides a first class service, is easy to deal with and a gentleman
Not honest people... We bought a second hand car from here, the car completely broke down after only 2 months later. and G scott car avoided responsibility. AMAZING BUSINESS no wonder why they still stay in the small garage without growing the business for so long.... And this is added after they claim mine is fake review. I bought Renault Megan for £800 - which had water leaking problem so had to scrape it 10 months later after purchasing. I still kept receipt don't frame us as fake review. look your attitude towards clients! awful.
It's a shame I can't give no stars for this garage if not minus! It has to be the worst, most dishonest car sales place I have ever encountered. Foolishly bought a car from this garage in December last year and have been trying to return it all year due to the poor condition of the car. I can honestly say it wasn't worth a penny. Word of warning to other buyers stay clear of this garage if you want a car that actually works for more than 5 minutes!! And when you think consumers have rights it's only the case if the company your up against is honest and trustworthy! Otherwise the truth means absolutely nothing.....
I bought a car from here and Graham Scott was very polite and professional. When I bought the car Scott Cars put a full years Mot and I couldn't have been happier a few days later a warning light came on called Graham and he said bring it down next day and he took a look and fixed it without any hesitation. I Would recommend him and his garage to everyone who wants to buy car. Thank you soooo much x
Utter waste of cash! I bought a Renault Clio Dynamique and literally had it on the road for 5 minutes before I felt a hard 'thunk' through the break pedal and the engine warning light came on. They said that the anitlock breaking system had cracked so they replaced it under warranty. I then had it on the road for 3 months before the car TOTALLY died. Lost all engine power completely. After getting a mechanic friend to look over the car he said that it's been bodged in a few places and it was a surprise it lasted that long. Bunch of total grifters! The car wasn't that cheap either at £1000 paid in cash for it. Edit in response to the dealership claiming it is fake, I still have the bill of sale as evidence.
I've bought 3 cars from here. All cheap and cheerful, and genuinely cheerful - I bought a Seat for £400, didn't service it for a year, drove 20,000 miles and lost £200 half its price when I sold it privately a year later. Others were just as good - though I've now gone upmarket pricewise but no I don't want an Axiam thank you! Recommended others and never had any negative feedback.
Terrible dealership bought a car for my daughter for 800 pound with full MOT. I took it to a local garage I trust to check it over and they pulled up previous MOT's which had previous advisories 2 pages long yet none of the work had been carried out by G Scott cars. Took car straight back 2 hours after buying he would only refund me by cheque even though I paid in cash. I also had to tax that car so lost 30 pound plus petrol money I put in that car.
Brought a car 2years ago from them. They look like the dingles, but my car is still on all 4s with nothing but normal wear and tear, What you would normally expect from a 11yr old car. Price was reasonable and they did lower it after a bit of bartering. Car was ready in less than 48hrs. This was my 1st car, and if i was looking for a cheap and cheerful 2nd motor, I would go back.
My alternator light came on so I called the closest garage to me. They were so helpful and I had my car back within the day, fixed and cheaper than expected too which was a bonus. Would really recommend.
Bought a car from here well over a year ago. Car is still going strong and G Scott Cars were brilliant from first approaching them to driving her away. I would buy another from there.
