We're on holiday in Lochgilphead and went into the tackle shop for some bait and advice on where to go. The guy in the shop was very helpful and gave us lots of places to try and pointed us to a good spot for flounder on the LRF gear. I caught my first flatfish on a lure there! He did us a good deal on a new rod too.

For nearly twenty years we have been buying modest amounts of fishing gear and baits from Fyne Tackle and we always get some good friendly advice of what to use and where to go for both fresh and salt water fishing. Good stuff. A nice range of outdoor and wet weather clothing - not that we need it too often in Scotland ;) makes McGilps a regular holiday stop.
