Craven Cottage is a football stadium located in Fulham, London. It has been the home ground of Fulham F.C. since 1896. The ground's current capacity is 25,700, all-seated, though the record attendance is 49,335, for a game against Millwall, 8 October 1938. Located next to Bishop's Park on the banks of the River Thames, 'Craven Cottage' was originally a royal hunting lodge and has history dating back over 300 years.As well as by Fulham, the stadium has been also been used by the United States men's national football team, Australia national football team, the Republic of Ireland national football team, and Canada men's national football team, and was formerly the home ground for rugby league team Fulham RLFC.LifePre-FulhamThe original 'Cottage' was built in 1780, by William Craven, the sixth Baron Craven and was located on the centre circle of the pitch. At the time, the surrounding areas were woods which made up part of Anne Boleyn's hunting grounds.

Probably the finest football stadium in the world. Why? Because while most other clubs have built bowl stadiums with ultra modern facilities, Craven Cottage allows you to watch Premier League football in a way that doesn’t really exist anywhere else. Right next to a beautiful part of the river Thames in a safe part of London with a friendly crowd. You can sit super close to the action or high up overlooking London in the new Riverside Stand. Amazing ground!
Took my son for his first ever football match. It was a brilliant day that exceeded all my expectations. A lovely stadium. And they beat Leeds too. Finished off with a walk around the club store buying a FFC scarf and football . Looking forward to our next visit.
This was my first visit to Craven Cottage and I would like to revisit this legendary London stadium in the near further. Fulham fans are nice people. This is a safe and friendly family orientated football club. I personally like the old fashion feel of the stadium and I also like the fact that you are close to the action on the pitch. Walking to Fulham FC has to be ranked as one of the best match day walks to any of the London stadiums. The stadium is easy to find and supports are peaceful. The walk from Putney Bridge station to the ground is only around 15 minutes. However, the return experience was less pleasant and it was difficult to get into Putney station due to overcrowding and lengthy delays. On this occasion I was seated in the H stand and the M row of seats. My view was obscured by people constantly standing throughout the match. If I am honest about it, I didn’t like sitting inside this stand. I feel that Fulham FC have so much more to offer than today’s match day experience and for that reason I will definitely be revisiting Craven Cottage again.
Went for my first game in EPL against Liverpool .. 2 - 2 and ti us FFC fans, I will take i5 as a 'win'!. My ticket is in the new Riverside area and boy! it's a massive change! just love the layout, food and drinks section. It opens out to the river and the view ... if you can get a ticket go see for yourself. Entry to the Riverside stand is by the 'Hammersmith' end .. 3 ways! Best part .. the food and bar section are opened for 2 hours after the game ended. I has hot dog, chips and Pimms and my friend has hot dog, chips washed down with a G&T! Many fans were also to soak in the evening. Looks like I will be hanging around after each game Fulham! Fulham!
Classy new stand by the Thames. Drink your pint with what must be one of the best views from a football ground in the UK! Friendly staff and a safe atmosphere. Thank you Fulham FC!
Nice compact Stadium, Reminds me a little bit of Upton Park. Close to pubs and cafes. Lots of space to mingle inside the stadium at the away before the game. There are designated smoking areas at the LS but not at Craven Cottage.
A fantastic little stadium, perfect view throughout in the away end aswell. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit

Good sight lines but still a temporary stand behind the goal? Congested on the concourse . New stand not fully open yet looks quite impressive
One of the best London stadiums to experience on a sunny day with lots of outdoor concourses. The new Riverside by the Thames is really special. Tickets are usually quite easy to get.
