Story

A friendly little cafe bar/venue serving fresh, hearty vegetarian food, a HUGE selection of carefully chosen booze, coffees, cakes and milkshakes/smoothies and wide menu catering for all needs! We have board games, newspapers, free WIFI and comfy sofas as well as a plethora of music, comedy, poetry and quiz nights showcasing Manchester's finest emerging talent.A well loved, slightly odd little place in the heart of the weird and wonderful Withington. Pay us a visit if you can. We'd like that.

This is a great venue! We had a private party upstairs at Fuel for about 40 people. They provided a selection of their lovely food to nibble on and we brought a cake and a playlist! The staff were so helpful and flexible. And the room has a lovely open atmosphere for people to sit or stand.Food: 5/5

My husband and I absolutely love this place. It's our 'go-to' brunch spot every time we're in Manchester. Great veggie and vegan food. Fab staff. Chilled atmosphere. And open for drinks til late.Food: 5/5
We had 3 veggie breakfasts and avocado and poached egg on toast, coffees and tea for 4 people. It was lunchtime and I love a place that serves breakfast/brunch food for lunch! Service quick and food good. Would eat here again. Loved everything on the menu. Vegetarian options: I eat both Vegan and veggie food so a great menu for me. Tasty food.
I love this place. I'm not a vegetarian. However, everything I have tried from this place is amazing. Would definitely recommend. It also does a variety of different things. One of them being live music. Sometimes it is heavy metal though... my favourite meal is the quesadilla with home made chips and a shake not decided on my favourite yet. Their staff are friendly and food is affordable too.
Fantastic value for money for the food! I got the chilli burrito meal and my sibling got the halloumi meal. I was starving before hand and entirely satiated afterwards. The burrito was delicious, not too rice-y, it only had a moderate amount of spice which made it more enjoyable for me. The guacamole was delicious and very high quality and fresh. We originally considered trying the desert splitting it as it was almost £5 for the waffle desert, but it would have been a while til we were hungry again! My meal was £8.20 which I think is fantastic for a meal. I'm used to being dragged somewhere where I end up paying £14 for a vegan burger that I demolish in 2 minutes so it's nice to have something I can really enjoy and for a enjoyable price too! There was a dog there with a guest just a warning to anyone with allergies but it was not disruptive at all. The toilets were fine but looked like bar toilets with the various stickers and wording, so don't take your traditional relatives here maybe!
Had the vegan fuel burger. Wedges that came with it were lovely. Burger was ok. Value was very good. Staff member serving me just seemed pissed off that I was there. Didn't say hi. Literally didn't say anything just stared at me. I asked if he was ok and he just glared. I ordered and he said nothing other than handing me the card machine and saying the amount. He then got annoyed when I asked for a spoon to stir the sugar into my coffee. "do you need it now" "did I not give you one". Just rude and unpleasant. Put me off going back. Vegetarian options: All vegetarian and lots of vegan
Great choice of vegetarian and vegan foods. Generous portions and very reasonable prices too. A quirky independent enterprise and well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Wonderful atmosphere, lovely service and the ladies behind the counter are all smiles and helpful. The food and service both great! The breakfast is served till 4pm ! The spicy jerk burger was delicious and so was the full English veggie breakfast.
