Really a great place to stroll around and do some carefree plant related shopping. The staff is approachable and helpful, and not pestering you with questions. They ask you if they can help you out in any way and are available for questions, but don't follow your every step, so you can stroll and do your browsing at your own pace. The variety of plants is also good and they also offered some discounts on certain plants whenever I went there. I'd highly recommend to anyone to come and see for themselves.
You MUST visit if you live, work, or visit anywhere nearby! It is a veritable oasis of peace and calm, set against building works and tower cranes in Dublin 8. Staff are welcoming, and enthusiastic. The soundtrack playing was classical, and relaxing The selections of plants are very well laid out, and modestly priced. There is a cactus house, an indoor plant area, and many more areas, with such variety that I feel everyone will leave feeling rewarded. I LOVE this place, and can't wait to return. Limited on street parking, but a bike rack is offered to lock your bike up as you browse.
Great spot, somewhat hidden from the main road. Useful, kind service. Prices are reasonable. Vibe is pleasant -- music does well for humans and plants alike. All in all, a place you'd go to for wandering around plants, shopping for related accessories if you need some, etcetera.
A lovely botanical curiosity that’s much bigger behind the scenes than it looks from the street. Some really extensive collections of indoor and outdoor plants for sale. Especially good collection of bougainvilleas and cacti. Only misses 5 stars because it’s very expensive €13.99 for a small fruiting tomato plant and because some of the specimens look a bit battered.
We came across Urban Plant Life serendipitously and decided to check the place out. We found the garden centre to be well laid out, stocked with a diverse set of both houseplants and plants for outdoor areas. You’ve your usual gardening tools for sale too. Moreover, we found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. A real gem in central Dublin. We’re really glad we stumbled upon Urban Plant Life and we’d definitely return here for our gardening needs!
This place has been my to go place for all sorts of plants. They always have something for everyone, newbies and experts alike for anything plants and pottery. The staff are nice, and even helped me find the plant i like by showing them a photo. They r very accesiblr by bus or tram walking distance.
Nice, pleasant walk amongst plants and accessories : Variety of options, approachable staff and not too pricey. I've noticed a coffee machine, but a proper little coffee shop is the only thing that's missing to complete a relaxing atmosphere :
Received my plants today. They were well packed, no damage to any of them. These are very high quality plants, in excellent condition, well looked after and full of life! I would not be able to get such a great selection and quality in the local shops, including woodies or b&q. Highly recommend this shop!
An enchanting little gem that will demand return visits. The plant selection and layout feels like walking through some magical little forest, with some plants and flowers I've never even seen before, fruits growing on vines, bonsai, cacti and pretty much anything else you're looking for. Super helpful staff who were readily available for information and advice. If you like plants you'll love this place!
Pots are cute and affordable and quality plants. Love this place! Plant lovers please don't miss out on this shop
