Guy called Ryan on reception was exceptionally rude, we hadn't visited this leisure centre before. We parked at the back, followed the entrance directions which took us around the back. We walked to reception from that path, mentioned to the lovely Ryan how we'd like to pay for a swim day pass, responding with a wait you entered through the back? DONT DO THAT AGAIN. With such attitude! We explained that we followed your signs but couldn't seem to comprehend much at all. Then we clearly had one toddler, asked for one adult and one toddler but charged for two toddlers and when asking for a refund he said it will take 6 weeks so you're best off having credit
Charging £40pm for the facilities you get is definitely not worth it, PureGym is charging £29 for relatively the same equipment and 24h access.
I use this centre several times a week. It needs a total refurbishment as it’s dated and poorly managed. This morning after my swim I went to shower and found there was no hot water. I reported this to reception and was told “yes we know about it, it’s going to be sorted”nNo apology, no explanation basic poor customer service.nThe gym has at my last count got 8 broken machines.nWhilst I welcome the fact that students from the college use the gym there should be a requirement that they wear gym clothing and footwear. On several occasions I’ve seen them in normal shoes and jeans or trousers.nA good leisure centre is a really important part of any town so please Fusion invest some funds in staff training and upgrading the centre
These could be fantastic facility, only if all the machines were working at the some time!nThe company, Fusion, needs to start focusing more on keeping their gym equipment maintained and up to scratch instead of focusing on recruiting more people.
Properly run down and nothing works. The pool is freezing, and the changing room area is FILTHY. Some classes are okay but one of the studios is cold, dirty floor, and has a leaking roof. Shame it's the only leisure centre in Frome, bit of a joke really.
