A very well laid out museum in an old house and original meeting place. The quakers brought help for the poor and encouraged them to better the education and health. It also chronicles done of the history of the Jewish migrants to the area. A small entry fee is well worth it.
Thirsk Friends Meeting is a small very friendly Meeting. We always welcome new attenders and visitors. Situated on Kirkgate opposite The Herriot Museum.
Lovely atmosphere, quiet garden, well equipped premises, warm welcome to all.
