My daughter attended Butterflies in Thirsk from the age of 5. She always had a passion for dancing from a young age and Butterflies developed her skills in all dance disciplines. They treat all students with the same regardless of ability and they promote a really good disciplined structured way to learning dance, but also have a lot of fun in the process!  

My daughter got A in her GCSE dance exams at school and she went on to win a place at CAPA in Wakefiled ( a specific performing arts college where each term 2,000 apply but only 50 make it) where she is currently on track to gain an A or A*.   She has appeared in pop videos and various shows.  Aside from her natural talent and hard work I am clear that she would not have achieved what she has so far without Butterflies influence in the early years.  In summary - If you like dance or you're kids like dance - go to Butterflies!

If they were the group that performed last month at harrogate theatre I thought the school was fantatstically different and innovative.  Dance was better than voice but the creativity was way above some of the other groups, especially the older group.......well done and wish my kids could attend if it weren't so far!
