Cosy local old style pub needs a bit of a spruce up and a good steam clean but not too bad at all. Looks like they serve good food.

Friendly staff that let me sample some beers before making a commitment. Still navigating the cask beer scene here! I had the Camembert beetroot pie and it was delicious. Sweet and rich, but paired with the green salad it was perfect. My friend had the fish and chips and was pleased, importantly the fish was not soggy on the bottom--my first critique of all fish and chips 👍

Also it was beautifully decorated for Christmas with lights and garland. Very festive. 

Conveniently located near hotels and hostels, it's a good starting point when you are catching your bearings in London. No wifi. Tiny restroom.

Bit cramped. Outside area is ok. Decent for a few after work.
