Great establishment. We called in for Sunday lunch. We both ordered the medium rare sirloin Sunday lunch, it was absolutely fantastic, plenty of perfectly cooked meat and a vast choice of vegetables. Was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in a long while. Will be returning again and will recommend to friends and family. Very friendly helpful staff too.
Fantastic little pub! Friendly staff and friendly customers too! Gorgeous garden out the back, perfect for children. We didn't eat but the food looked delicious!Service: 5/5
Always food value breakfast but seating a but cramped as they usher you to a small raised section that with 4 couples in starts to feel cramped. Big pub they should let you sit where you want. Good food good service very niceFood: 5/5
Sunday lunch was lovely. You certainly get plenty for your money at £10 for the main course. Dessert also good value and delicious. Would definitely recommend.Food: 4/5
Rare value and excellent hospitality. Landlord very friendly, welcoming and generous, even sorted us out some late-night dinner after the kitchen had closed when we arrived much later than we had hoped. We booked a twin room as that was all that seemed to be available, but he offered us a double which was much appreciated! Room was clean, quiet and just what we needed. Bar had a nice atmosphere even for a weekday. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked, and excellent value. Ideal place to stay on our way down to Cornwall.
We had breakfast there for first time, very Impressed. Food was lovely, definitely go again.Food: 5/5

Just visited Friar Tucks for Sunday lunch. Our first visit but not the last What a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The lunch was amazingly good value for £9.50. Good quality meat and vegetables and plenty of it. We will definitely go back. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and well fed. And a bonus is that this is a dog friendly pub. BRILLIANT.
Went for breakfast. Probably one of the best we've had in ages. Will be going back. Excellent service, super friendly staff, so happy and helpful. Parking: Over the road. We had an elderly relative but was able to pull up and get him out the car before parking across the Rd.
Breakfast was amazing best cooked breakfast I've had in years will definitely be going back for more very nice pub aswellFood: 5/5
