Mark has done a great job of repairing my late father in-laws violin. Would definitely recommend him to any one.

Once you find a parking space for Fretmarks, you can spend ages inside as Mark has a wealth of knowledge about all stringed instruments. He recently restored my almost one hundred year old banjo and carried out some research on the instrument for me as I didn't know too much about it. I would recommend this place to any guitar enthusiast.

Superb shop with a most delightful owner. I was a bit worried by all the guitars that my violin wouldn't be of interest to him, but within 5 minutes of walking in, I had a new G-string and also tuned violin. Excellent friendly service at a good price and will definitely be going back. Thank you so much!

Great musical instrument shop!I have been going there for years,and have bought several guitars,amps,and effects pedals,Mark is always there on hand if you need advice or help..no pushiness..very cool dude! Would recommend this shop and it's owner to anyone looking for music gear,including Violins,Keyboards,Amps sheet music,accessories....etc! I would give ten stars if it was possible!

Excellent service from Mark, every time I visit even if it's just for a chat purchase or rummage I feel very at ease and there is no sales pitch, Mark is very very knowledgeable in his field which is very reassuring certainly to a novice like myself, prices are really good and you know you have got a good deal,  in the beginning I would check prices but it's not worth the hastle knowing that what you get is very reasonable tied in with a good personal service, which I don't think you would get from the bigger stores or Internet. Keep up the good service.

Brilliant music shop with a friendly owner! Got a great deal on an electro acoustic Guild which is quite easily the best sounding acoustic i've ever played. I'd recommend anybody to pop into FretMark's as you'd not only be supporting a local independent music shop but you can also find some cracking guitars.

Local, friendly, Mark is always very helpful with any inquiry. Not expensive. I have used this place as long as I can remember and will continue to do so...

Absolutely fantastic service. Must check out his eBay page too!  I live in London and shopped all over for a clarinet for my daughter. One which was the right brand and price, I found it here.

Mark is open again after COVID-19 lockdown. As always really friendly and helpful. Use him or lose him - like all small local business. 2nd hand instruments, service & repairs and the "streaming" performance studio upstairs.
