French Sole used to provide me with my favourite ballet flats. Unfortunately the ones I got recently to replace my old soft as butter previous ones are completely differently made. They are hard and stiff and despite me wearing them now for two months, have not softened in at all. They rub my feet and toes raw. I will never buy French sole again.
Went into the store for a browse and the assistant on the day I was there around 1ish afternoon on 14/6/18 was so helpful and informative. I picked the ones I like and tried them on but the comfort level isn’t what I would expected from French sole. The assistant then advised against them as they aren’t the best fit for my feet. She recommended another range which I tried them on and I was surprised how comfortable they are!! Shame they don’t have the right size in store as ones I tried were a tad tight. I will def pop in again to check if my size become available. And I hope she is there again next time I visit! She def know her stuff! My past experience with French sole weren’t great as the assistants weren’t as helpful but I changed my mind today!
I recently ordered some shoes from French Sole, as a birthday gift for our daughter in law who lives in Australia. Due to the Covid19 difficulties, it was not possible to fulfil the order in time for the shoes to be dispatched to Australia but thanks to Lucy, a very helpful and kind member of the customer service team, she promptly identified other styles which were already in stock and immediately arranged for the shoes to be couriered to our daughter-in-law. I could not have asked for better service and thank you Lucy for all your help. I would definitely recommend French Sole and I know that Bronwyn has always been very pleased with the quality and comfort of other pairs of shoes purchased in the past. Elizabeth
They are beautifully made shoes in a lovely little shop. They don't have lots of inventory but that allows them to sell out and offer up new styles all the time. You've got their basic ballerina type shoes and then some more original shapes and designs. Good combo of originality and classic.
Absolutely appalling service I'm afraid. I went there today with an intention to buy a nice pair of shoes, I was absolutely certain I was going to leave my money there but left almost in tears. The assistants were incredibly dismissive. I clearly needed help but they kept ignoring me. I ended up asking for my size for every single pair of shoes, while they were staring blankly from the counter. I had to ask 10 times perhaps. And every time I did ask for my size, I had to repeat my question twice or three times, I don't know if they were daydreaming or sleeping?! All this time I was trying to find something suitable they stayed at the counter as if I wasn't there. Finally when I did find what I liked, I asked if they had a different pair as the ones they brought me were not in the best shape. I had to ask three times before the assistant suggested to have a look in other stores, while not even looking at me. I decided to just leave as soon as I could. In general the shop assistants don't seem to have the type of personality needed for this type of job. The mannequins would do a better job than them. Won't come back ever and won't recommend to anyone.
Bought shoes here online. I love the prompt reply. I got my order in no time.
Awful - no sizes of any styles anyone would actually want to buy. Lol.
Poor customer service and the shoes are definitely not worth the price given their quality.
My favourite .... I have small feet and they suit me well.
Literally no stock of anything!
