Stuart and the team are very welcoming and knowledgeable. The quality of the meat is fantastic and at very reasonable prices. His aged steaks are incredible... But great pork and lamb and the chickens are super value and taste real and are not full of water! Fabulous favourites are the smoked bacon and pinks sausages! Lots of other supplies now as well.... Better all-round than the mediocre shop next door!! Still fabulous.....great cooked meats, pasties and pork pies and what's more George and Stu always cheer you up and make you smile!
Excellent goat meat! I make goat mutton indian curry and his goat meat is so tender. Get the goat meat with the bones, which is cut in cubes. Excellent for cooking mutton biryani as well. Also, I bought beef shank or shin to make a type of spicy Chinese Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The meat so unbelievably tender, amazing! Excellent meat for very fair price!
