When moving house from Amersham to Somerset, Fredericks Removals were one of 5 companies I asked to come and quote for the work - including a full packing service. In terms of price, Fredericks came out as the second cheapest, and the chap who came to survey our house Jordan Ross impressed me with his friendly and competent demeanour, which was a significant factor in my deciding to use their services. For the move itself, the 5-man team arrived on time the day before to pack the majority of our things into a lorry; on the day of the move they packed the remainder including our beds, fridge etc, and then drove all the vehicles down and unloaded everything at our new house. Jordan himself was part of the team on the second day - it's clear that the service is personal with valued staff and not just a random bunch of contractors on a given day. All of Fredericks staff worked hard & carefully throughout, and were polite and friendly. Overall their attitude made a huge positive difference to what is inevitably a stressful step in life, and left us with a warm feeling in our new home when they finally departed for the drive back to base on the evening of our moving day. Thank you all - I would recommend you to others without hesitation or reservation.
The team at Fredericks Jordan, Louise and the hands-on crew did a cracking job of organising and executing our move. The packing service was superb including top quality banter - thanks, Darren.... and not a thing was damaged in the process. Thoroughly recommended from start to finish and very reasonably priced as an added bonus.
