Great pizza as usual from Franco Manca. It's great to finally have them in Cheltenham. Stan, who looked after us was absolutely brilliant. They were short staff and very busy but he made sure we were being looked after. I highly recommend this place.
The good: Amazing service from the girl at the front desk who greeted us and took our order. Friendly, fun, entertaining, down to earth/human and considerate....all the more impressive given she was clearly suffering with hayfever. Takeaway special offer pricing - £5 per pizza for takeaway Nice atmosphere in the restaurant when waiting Pizza bases were light and the sourdough was tasty. The tomato tasted fresh and the cheeses were were nice too. The less good: One of the three pizzas ordered was somehow replaced with a different pizza topping bacon and aubergine rather than fennel sausage and roasted potato which was ordered Toppings were very sparse - when cut into 8 slices, no more than half if that of the slices had ham on them. All slices would have been missing one topping or another. Even the tomato was absent from many pieces of the pizza. Makes for a very awkward situation when sharing the pizza with friends as several slices were cheese only. A few extra pence spent on pizza toppings would transform the customer experience from being a poor one into a great one. Pizzas took around 30mins from ordering walk-in to being ready. Longer than I had expected. Pizzas were whole and not sliced. For a takeaway "Pizza in the park" special designed to be taken and eaten out the box in the park, it made it difficult not having a sliced pizza. Difficult to eat. Almost impossible to share with friends. Slicing should be standard, with the option of not slicing it if preferred by the customer and asked by when ordering.
Great location and worth a visit. The pizzas taste great and service was friendly and super quick. Did not have the Stilton cheese but not a issue and was swapped for goat cheese.
Newly opened when I visited so staff were still ramping up, but pizza was fantastic and had the option of vegan and gluten free which is great to be able to order together. Beer also very nice! Staff were all super helpful and smiling which is rare these days! Will definitely be back!
Heavenly taste of firewood cooked pizza at a very affordable price! From as low as £7 for a whole pizza, it's honestly much worth it compared to buying one from its nearby competitors in my opinion. I would highly recommend number 2 and 7 from the menu, anything with basil taste amazing!
Amazing pizza. Few more starters that aren't dough based would be good but still amazing. Also good vegan options , will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
First time going here the other week and it was amazing, one of the best pizza I have had and so fast!. If your in the area pop in for a pizza. Can't go from. Vegetarian options: Got a nice vegan pizza and toppings
Great little pizza place, very reasonable prices too. The drink selection could have been wider however the food was amazing and didn't take long to make either. The waitress that served us was very friendly and had good conversation. I would like to see more meat based pizza rather than the focused vegan or vegetarian options as I feel the amount of meat eaters far out ways the others. Overall I really enjoyed the meal! 8/10
Went on a busy day but at 3pm so restaurant was obviously quite empty, after having in Manchester and quite liking these guys did not disappoint, shared a pizza and mozzarella garlic bread, both were amazing, propper pizza, staff were funny and service was very quick we were in a rush and got in and out in 30mins so very impressed, homemade lemonade was a good try too, thank you!
Lovely pizzas, good range of toppings and speedy service. Thanks for a lovely night with friends, we will be back!
