We have stayed now a few times and we go back again Xmas, I wish this site was closer to home it's fabulous and well worth our 2 1/2 hour drive. Mandy the owner is amazing and never forgets your face. She personally comes and greets you and literally does everything on site what a woman fairplay. We also had a whale of a time at the bar this weekend. Facilities are great and location is ideal for touring around.
Immaculate touring site with warm and friendly hosts. Been here several times over the last 4years and the facilities are always clean and immaculate. Close access to the Llangollen towpath and local dog friendly pubs, with a host of other attractions a short drive away.
We stayed at Foxtail for a weekend in our tourer, The greeting we received when we arrived was excellent, very friendly, happy and informative. The site is well kept all neat and tidy. Toilet facilities are modern and kept clean with plenty of toilets and free showers. The pitches are very big hard standing with a tap on so you can connect fresh water and grey waste water serviced.nThere is a bar on site which looked good but we didn't get chance to try it out. The other campers on site were nice and no noise from anyone. The site is very well situated for exploring the local area of Llangollen and Oswestry with plenty of local shops and pubs within walking distance. The site also has a laundry room. The only things I would comment on is the showers could do with more hooks in to hang your towel and clothes on whilst showering and please be aware the site is near a main road which is handy for access but there is a bit of road noise during the day but you soon get used to it and becomes normal. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely visit here again.
Beautiful park with excellent facilities.nCracking location for walks along the canal, club on site plus pubs in walking distance. Small retail park within walking distance. Highly recommend. You do get some road noise from A483.
Friendly welcome. Easycheck in. Lovely clean lodge. Nice that can bring pets although we didn't as children stayed home but lodge didn't smell of pets.nSituated between Chirk bypass and Old main road into Chirk. Some road noise but nothing major. Didn't notice after a while. Nice outside space with hot tub. Lodge we had on frontage . Not quite private when in hot tub but will be when laurel hedging grows a bit taller. Not really an issue . Really helpful when tv wouldn't work. Quickly sorted. Well equipped kitchen Possibly a pyrex microwave dish would be a nice addition . dishwasher nice touch. A scourer and some washing up liquid would also have been nice although cloth and dishwasher tablets provided. Lovely large comfy bed. Rooms nice size. Plenty of hot water for showers and nice soft towels providednWell kept site, toilets and showers on site as campervans tourers also catered for.nBar on site nice size and, reasonably priced.nPossibly addition on welcome sheet re bins as was a bit unsure what went where.nWill definitely return here when we revisit This area.
