Owned by the people of Leek. Every town should have a place like this..community coming together and they bring food, the arts and a generous spirit to the table. Food always good and great selection. Take you coffee upstairs and into the library for a read and relax. View some art... plan a night there with all the events they bring in. What's not to appreciate. !

Really great place for meeting as well as for performances. We went to see Fairport Convention during the Leek Arts Festival - travelled from North Wales to see them and it was an ideal place. Lovely venue and very friendly staff; absolutely wonderful place for a folk performance, not too large and you could feel you were involved with the act. From talking to people, it is a well used meeting place with very much appreciated coffee and bar facilities and a real asset for the community - wish I lived nearer to take advantage.

Community run arts and social centre manned by local volunteers. A Georgian building which has over the years been home to different occupants from the it initially being the residence of a local mill owner, becoming a centre for trade unions, a public house and now its current use as an arts centre for the people of Leek. Comprising of an art gallery, workshops for crafts and other enterprises, a library, meeting rooms and a cafe providing tasty home made cooked produce and refreshments at very reasonable prices. You can be assured of a friendly welcome.
