This is our first visit here and it won’t be our last. We absolutely love it here! The atmosphere outside and under the pergola is very pleasant indeed. We came for Sunday lunch and the food is cooked and presented to absolute perfection and all the flavours work very well together. If you’re looking for somewhere new to go, this place is well worth driving to, even if it’s well out of your way. Overall, an outstanding experience!n2 course £37, 3 course £42
We went on a Saturday for food as a table of four, the food was presented well and reasonably priced except for £6.50 a pint, but as a table we think the food lacked taste and/or dry. The steak and starters could have definitely done with a sauce. The place was nice, good atmosphere, but service was slow.nnPersonally I wouldn’t go again, but wouldn’t discourage people of it either.
Booked in for Sunday Lunch and glad I did its a fantastic place with great staff run by Helen who knows how to run a restaurant.nnIt's not a massive restaurant but it's very cosy and the decor is really relaxing and done lovely. It also has a lovely decking area with a pagoda over it with heaters which is perfect for small gatherings like a baby shower like the one that was being held on the day I was there.nWe had a two course Sunday lunch which was very tasty and served by friendly staff. The roast beef was cooked to perfection and covered in grave which topped it off a treat.nWill definitely be back again and would highly recommend this little gem.
We had a family celebration lunch at The Fox and it was fantastic. Helen and the team made everything so easy to organise and were really helpful and accommodating with booking and menu options.nnOn the day, the food was brilliant, everyone loved it, and the service was outstanding. We were so well looked after.nnWe sat outside on the terrace and it was such a lovely atmosphere. We will be returning soon.
A very nice restaurant with excellent surroundings. The weather was good so they were able to open their patio style doors and we were able to enjoy the outdoor space at the back of their restaurant while we dined.nnThe food was first class; everybody in my group commented on the quality of their dishes. The Fox is a small establishment and there was 14 in our group but they were able to bring all our dishes to the table at the same time.nnMy only problem was finding a parking spot when I arrived. There are only a few parking spots at the front of The Fox but the staff do try to help you find a spot.nnIf the weather is nice then get to The Fox a little earlier and have a drink in their beer garden.
