Couldn't have asked for a better service! We have recently purchased a house from Marcus and at the same time he sold ours for us. We had several dealings with other estate agents in Lytham throughout our time looking for a new house and none compared to the time and effort Marcus always gave us. He always kept us well informed and updated with any new properties coming on the market which is invaluable. He organised viewings quickly and was always contactable within the day. Have recommended Marcus to several friends since who have used Marcus and been very happy.

4 ‘musts’ before dealing with Marcus Fowler Estate Agents:
- turn on read reports for your email because he will rarely reply
- hide your caller ID because he will not pick up the phone if he recognises your number
- live in close proximity to his estate agents premises because only personal visits will get him to do anything 
- know your legal right, only after threatening legal action will he get anything done. 

In short... I do not recommend dealing with Marcus Fowler Estates. 2 years after he managed a rental property of mine, I’m still dealing with the fallout.

Absolutely shocking, worst estate agent we have ever been unfortunate to come across. Twice we had offers accepted on properties, search fees & survey fees paid twice.  On both occasions  months down the line he then informed us there had now been a mystery bidder who had offered higher and tried to get us into a bidding war. Completely unprofessional, assured us this wouldn't happen again but it did and we lost fees both times... 
On top of this calls are never answered or returned he is after all just a very small one man operation so is rarely in the office. 
Avoid at all costs....  there are many alternative and far superior/professional agents in the area.

Marcus came to visit twice for consultations before I put my house on the market, and gave me invaluable hints and tips for presentation and pricing (there were no proper comparables go from). My house sold within ten days for the full asking price, even though I'd thought the offer price was quite high. Marcus is very good at absorbing angst when things go wrong with the other party and/or their (useless, online) conveyancers.  Marcus always answers his phone or rings back promptly. He stays calm, and works industriously behind the scenes to make sure things keep moving, while keeping everyone on an even keel. I would use him again in the future and I am happy to recommend him.
