Super bar with a central 4 sided real fireplace. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were basic but clean and warm once the heater was on. Shower was fine in our room, which was a twin. There is a drying room though it wasn't very effective. There is also a large guest kitchen dining area. Beautiful views and plenty parking. Good place for a group.
Great place if you want to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are very nice especially after a night of snow expedition. Staff is very friendly and the drinks and food were amazing. The shared kitchen at the lodges was a huge plus to prepare for our hiking trips. Will definitely visit again!!
First visit, will be back, nice atmosphere and lovely restaurant, beautiful fire and good food. Two items vegan friendly, I had the beetroot burger with chips and salad. It was really nice. Could do with a different bun, maybe brown. Very attentive staff, happy and friendly.
Great place to bring in the New Year. Friendly, lovely food, reasonable prices and good ambience. What's not to It would have been 5 stars had it not been for the rather over quick serving of dinner on Hogmanay but it was still a fab night with great Ceilidh band and lots of laughs.
Lovely welcoming pub with a fire on a cold day. 2 Vegan meal options, we had the quinoa burger which was nice and chips which are all cooked separately thankfully but wasnt sure if still cooked in same oil as fish? Hopefully not! Polite and helpful staff.
Good home cooked food, friendly staff and some lovely Scottish beers.
Excellent host Ben and great personnel. They make you feel at home and nothing is to much for them. We stayed there with a group of 60 former Dutch marines of W-Coy.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent place for a beer with friends or have dinner! I highly recommend the fish and chips here… homemade and it tasted really good. The hummus was also really good. We stayed one night and we shared a bedroom for 5 people. I rated 4 star as the bedroom was not cleaned properly.
Had a beautiful meal and a couple of drinks at Roam West. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the restaurant and bar is warm and welcoming with an open fire and a huge selection of whiskies. If I had one very minor criticism, I would say that the menu is a little on the expensive side, but with the friendliness of the staff and the lovely surroundings, I can't complain too much!
Accommodating and nice staff. The burger with black pudding and haggis was great, as were the local beers they had on tap.
