They mixed up my order and didn't realise till I got home, tried to phone them multiple times but no one answered... It was disappointing lots of other Chinese places in paisley that are way better
Just had a takeaway from here. Absolutely disgusting. Chicken curry was watery and a funny taste, the chicken chow mein was dry, over cooked and basically inedible. Fried rice was stodgy, these are the basic foods from a Chinese takeaway and they can’t even do these. Avoid at all costs
Just had a collection from Fortune House. Ordered Wun tun and noodle soup. Salt and pepper ribs plus Thai Red chicken Curry. My boyfriend and I adored the freshness of the food. WE SHALL RETURN
Have been going to the fortune House for many years. Got a takeaway tonight and was totally disgusted at the meal. £19 for 2 dishes. Main Salt & chilli chicken portion you could of put in your eye , FULL of onions obviously to beef it up, never even filled the container!! Main chicken chowmein in a considerably smaller container. I know things have been tough but come on..... Really disappointed... Time for a change I think
Had salt and chilli chips and chicken balls for the first time trying this place it was absolutely beautiful great portion size will definitely be back to try some more stuff .thanks
Have tried the chicken curry but wasn't their strong point so I stick to the chicken chow mein and salt and chilli chips and chicken balls. I stick to what works and these are delicious. Delivery is usually quite quick also.
The following is my review of an order from Fortune House on Friday 24 Jan 2020. This was the very first time I have used Just Eat to order a meal. On this occasion, it was my treat to celebrate the birth of a new grandchild with my daughter who had just been released from hospital. Upon ordering the meal at 18.30, I was advised that the order would be delivered in one hour. Okay, I thought. That sounds reasonable for a Friday evening. I thought wrong. The hour passed, and I was not concerned. after all anyone can be a couple of minutes late. 17.45 - no order, so called and they informed that they were very busy, but would arrive soon. Fair enough. Another 10 minutes pass. Still no meal. Phoned again, and was informed that it would arrive at 20.00. Eight O'Clock arrives and still no food! More phone calls, emails, tickets raised on Just-Eat, and phone calls to Just-Eat. You're probably starting to get an idea of the service? PS, Fortune House, I can provide phone call logs, email correspondence and issues raised with Just Eat. Restaurant says again that food is on the way, and that they will waive the delivery and service charge. THEY LIED! Charged me full price with no apology. As for the delivery, I hear you ask? It turned up at 20.30, by which time we were all tired, angry, hungry and frustrated. The food itself? Good, tasty and still hot. However, none of us enjoyed as we were just too frustrated by the time it arrived. Let's make one point clear; all of us work incredibly hard to be in a position to hand over our very hard earned money for treats such as this. Quite disgraceful that this establishment was indifferent, uncaring and dismissive of our concerns. My conclusion. Avoid Fortune House at any cost. They do not care. They do not listen. They lie. They inform that a small refund will be offered and then do not proceed. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
Worst Chinese I have ever orderd. Special fried rice had some brown gravey on top, omlette, and some fake chicken sliced up ontop. Crispy fried chillie beef soggy full of watery sweet chillie sauce same as the spare ribs. Called up to ask for a refund after spending £25. Sent food back and got a full refund. I am shocked at the poor quality of good and should have read the reviews first as they say it all. Never eat from here again.
I had a chicken choi mein from here on thursday night an ive been ill with somach cramps, vomiting and diarrhoea all day yesterday,, gave some to my dogs and they had the trots also,,, never had a problem before but avoid at all cost!! Monday morning im contacting environmental health as ive never felt so unwell ever!
Avoid at all costs!! Vile and disgusting. Shame on you for the so called food. Piece and feces would have looked and tasted better. Do not fall for gluten free noodles.. They have soy sauce on it defeating the purpose of gluten free! Shame on you!!!
