Would give them 0 Stars if it was an option. Car not fixed and alloys scratched. Incompetent and dishonest. Was booked in for a clutch and dual mass fly wheel. The online quote was £948, then when I called to book it in this upped to £1150, 'because the online quotes were for cheap parts'. Nevertheless they could do the job so I booked it in for a week ahead which was the first time they could do it, plenty of time for them to get the parts you would think? Dropped it off ahead of the agreed 08:30 time. Lunch time I get a call. They can't get the parts! It's stripped down and ready, but they can't do the job. So they'll call me when it was ready to collect. No call a few hours later so I call back. Still not ready. They'll call me when it was ready. So I give it a couple of more hours and turn up. My car is parked in the street and is ready, but no call. Maybe they were waiting for it to get dark so I wouldn't see the chips in my alloys around the hollows where the wheel nuts go in. They denied doing it saying they must have been already there. But neither of the front wheels have been taken off since the alloys were refinished. So dishonest and useless. Avoid them.
Awful, again after I decided to give them a second chance. First of all I was left waiting in the reception area for a good 8 minutes. I went to check where the staff was only to see him sat in the driver seat of a car and then decided to come out after he heard the door for a second customer. When I was given the worksheet, they entered 52,375 as opposed to 32,350 which is what it should have been. When I pointed this out he went to the car and entered what he thought it was…. It was wrong again. This time he entered 32,352, when I advised this is wrong it should be 32,350 he said it doesn’t matter because by the time you drive down the road it will change. What the actual hell has happened to good customer service? Makes me very wary and concerned if you are this lax with a don’t care attitude, what else are you not doing and should be doing in terms of servicing my car. Can I trust them? NO. Would I use them again? NO and would I recommend them to anyone else? Hell NO.
Took my car in MOT, the place was clean and tidy and there was a viewing window so I could watch with eagle eyes the MOT process and I was surprised and impressed by what they did. I’d recommend F1. I had booked online for £36. I had done checks beforehand on the lights, wiper fluid and changed the brake pads too, checked all seatbelts- job done.
Had my tyres looked at and changed. On the day the reception was unmanned and had to go into workshop to pull one of staff and hand the keys as it was on appointment booked basis. The mechanic was quite helpful and did offer tracking but I had already had it done elswhere. Overall service was good.
Shambles… got a slot booked in over the phone for tyre fitting, arrived maybe 3 minutes late, waited for 45 minutes and the car wasn’t even brought in in all that time. When queried on how long would it take as i had other commitments, was told that i can come down when i have more time ‍ nice isn’t it, the so call great customer service described above at it’s finest, - what’s the point of all these slots then…
Not the friendliest of welcomes by the staff, but they did the job of my MOT and service at great rates. I felt like my custom was just another car to them, rather than me being a valued customer. Might use them again next year.
I'm always a bit worried about using these type of places for tyres and exhausts etc but these guys were so helpful and honest. No big upselling, which means I never go back. Great price and incredibly efficient. I'll go back .
I went to this garage for a simple tyre replacement and was,at first very happy with the price and service. However what I didn't realise and later did realise was the incompetence and deviance. As I waited for the car I stood in the reception and the "mechanic " called the manager over just before he said the job was done and they both went out to look at the car. I thought nothing of this until a few days later I saw that the locking nut on the wheel had been completely sheared off and if I had had a flat tyre in the meantime there would have been no way to have changed the wheel. I know realise that obviously the " mechanic " knew he had done this and without notifying me but also the manager knew this and failed to tell me which I find not just terrible customer service but also dangerous. AVOID!!! Update: After 3 months I have now had to have the valve replaced due to loosing pressure.
Appalled with the level of service they have provided. I had issues with my engine a year ago, the engine light kept flashing and the car eventually broke down so took this to formula one. Instead of fixing the issue, they ended up making it worse, the vehicle started making noises so I left it with them to sort out. Eventually they fixed this issue but suggested replacing my engine. I managed to find another repair shop to get a quote for a new engine and a second opinion. The second garage advised me that I didn’t need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a new engine since the issue was with the engine oil. Thankfully they fixed the issue with my engine but this issue should have been picked up by formula one. In addition, I took my car in for a service and they ended up quoting me almost £700 for additional costs. One of which included new tyres since they suggested this was close to its legal limit. I visited a tyre shop to receive a second quote, the garage told me that I didn’t need to replace my tyres since I had enough tread depth and said “replacing this at the moment would be a waste of money”. I find it ridiculous how much this garage quotes you for work but doesn’t have the audacity to include Labour against each item. There are plenty of other garages who will not rip you off and provide you with reliable service.
The most atrocious service ever received. Car was booked in for 2 new tyres to be fitted at 11.45. Arrived 11.30 but by 13.45 - 2 hours later my wife was still sat in the waiting room, car not touched. Awful. Complained to the manager on site who did not know what to say, although a taxi which arrived after my wife was repaired. Left without tyres being fitted. Do not use this site in Wigston. Avoid by all possible means
