At Forest Veterinary Surgery, based in Nottingham, our constant endeavour is to provide you pets with the best possible health care in a kind and understanding manner, as if they were our own. We aim to do this with our team of highly qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeons, supported by nurses and receptionists dedicated to caring for your pet locally.

We also offer an emergency vet service, should you ever need us out of hours, as well as a VIP pet healthcare scheme to split the cost of treatments.

My previous dog went to this vets, he had his injections here, he had his flea & worm treatment from here too. I had him castrated here due to having blood in his urine which solved the issue. Had to have him put to sleep recently, he was 12 years old, I’m devastated & feel so lost without him Having him cremated & his ashes will be returned to me along with his paw prints & some of his fur. I miss him so much, I’m heartbroken R.I.P Robbie, my boy, love you so much
We cannot praise this clinic enough.Our Dog Sassie died at home, they came and collected her for cremation and returned her ashes with a lovely touching sympathy card. Thankyou for your professional caring attention Maggie and Trevor
That care towards my cats has been excellent. The communication from the vets is lacking and contradicting to what they tell you over the phone to what they put in notes. The reception team on the other hand are very poor I won't name or shame anyone bit let's just say. Certain staff members skills in customer service are non existent. Very aggressive tone on the phone and don't take into account the needs of the animals when it comes to Medication collection. I've now moved to another vets after 18 plus years. Rapidly going downhill this one in recent years compared to when I first joined. This is what they have come to. My cat needs 3 monthly medication and as I told them I was going to another vets due to the service they sent over the medical records to the new vets but instead of allowing me to fetch the medication and pay for it they cancelled it knowing he would need it before I could get in the new vets. Now they ignoring my emails. They could of said still fetch the medication on Monday and we will close the account after then as we know the cat needs the medication. Very petty by the reception team. No care from them towards the animals.
Team there is always so friendly and professional with advise and care for my dog. Been with this clinic for about 4 years with various pers and they have always provided excellent service and support from puppy to the good byes to my dogs. Thank you team!

Very caring vet. Friendly reception. A little on the pricey side but quality is measured in the mix.
Fantastic brilliant vet lovely nurse and receptionist very friendly I don’t normally leave reviews but these guys certainly deserve a 5 star rating highly recommend
Be picky which vet you see here also the head receptionist can be abrupt and verging on the rude so be picky who you talk to at reception it gets 3 starts as 3 vets we encounter out the 4 where gentle with there handling !
Been going to this vets since I was young with my parents and all the pets we've had over the years. Would highly recommend them. Lovely staff and I feel safe taking all my pets there.
Staff are so gentle and caring towards pets, very understanding and formal and knowledgeable when you ask questions. Have registered my pet with them, 5/5
