Just back from a four ball round of golf @ Forest Pines, fantastic experience. The welcome by John at the golf reception was very friendly. Up to the Cafe/Restaurant a warm welcome and excellent service by Ed. Meet on the putting green by the young starter Sam, another enthusiastic welcome with alot of great course knowledge. Course fantastic, greens wonderful, I would rate the whole experience as 5 star.

Just prefect. One of the best courses I've played in England, Scotland and Wales. I don't see many courses inside the woods around the UK, definitely worth visiting. Very pleasant people at the reception. The only thing I don't like about the courses in the UK is the thick and hard sand inside the bunkers. But that's just a common thing and also present at this course.

Fantastic course well maintained all year round. There are three 9 hole loops ending back near the bar, Each one challenging in its own way. You have Forest, long par 4s and 5s with forgiving fairways a couple of short par 3s one of those going over a small lake that creates the front of the green. Next you have got Pines with its tight fairways, I my opinion the toughest of the three. A long slight dogleg par 5 to start and a 200 yard par 3 across large lake make for a good challenge. Beaches is the last loop and the smallest with three par 3s and one par 5. With no water hazards to worry about beaches is probably the easiest of the three. But as the name suggests there are a lot of well placed bunkers waiting to catch you out.

It's a place of great beauty with well maintained free lined fairways and greens. Highly recommended place to play golf.

Brilliant golf course really good food. Really nice rooms. Only pitfalls were poor service and the bar supervisor Mary was rude.
