Great park, had some equipment I haven't seen in a park for a long time especially the climbing frame and tall slides, right on the river so great for a paddle or to walk along. Car park across the road is very convenient and the little kiosk does drinks and food I highly recommend nigels pie!
Nice park, and a great place to stop on the edge of the New Forest. Good Rugby/Football pitches, a skate park, a kids playground and the Avon passing alongside after exiting the town.
A really lovely place for an outing or picnic at Fordingbridge Recreation Ground Playpark. It’s perfect for families, with a nice play area where kids can enjoy themselves.nnOne of the highlights is the access to the river it’s generally shallow and safe near the edges, so children can have fun in the water. However, it’s important to be careful, as going further into the middle can be dangerous, so kids should always be supervised.nnThe area is usually not too busy, which makes it even more relaxing. With its peaceful, countryside feel, it’s a great spot to unwind and spend quality time outdoors.
Parking is with Ringo, the children's play area does not allow dogs. There is a paddling pool, and access to the river which is shallow. Great for a spot of fishing, and paddleboard, there is plenty of space to relax next to the river, beautiful trees, toilets and a cafe.
Lovely place with play facilities, a quiet memorial garden and river walk. Beautiful setting. Only downside, accessibility for mobility scooters very difficult with the type of entrances into the park. Main gate locked.
