Good place for comic book lovers and for geeks of all kinds, however if you do not like tight spaces this is not the place for you. Granted the store is quite small and well stocked with goods but it is hard to walk about and look when you are squeezed between other customers and the book shelves. Staff are alright but do tend to leave stools and boxes sitting about where customers are walking. Need to find themself a bigger unit/store or work out a better layout as this one only works during quiet periods.

Great selection of items, particularly pop vinyls in recent months. Has a good mix of smaller, cheaper items and high end expensive stuff. Would give 5 stars if not for a couple issues: The layout means when it's busy it's really difficult to move or to stop and look for a bit. It gets really crammed, especially at the pop vinyls. Putting them on the same aisle as other figures means one half of the shop is uncomfortably busy while the other side is much quieter. My other issue is some of the staff members. Most are fine, but I've been in a couple of times and heard a staff member swearing openly while talking to a friend, including use of the infamous 'c word'. It might be OK to speak like this in your own time when you're with your friends, but in the middle of a shop, out loud, with kids walking around is pretty shocking.

I could spend hours in Forbidden Planet, there's always something new. I must have bought my copies of Maus way back in the Eighties and I have been visiting the Glasgow store ever since. The staff are very knowledgeable and always very helpful and polite. Part of the fabric of Glasgow city centre with everything you could think that is comic book ,and comic book related. Forbidden Planet ,Glasgow, " Ye cannae beat it".

Dude with the new blue under armour followed me again. I'm good friends with my comic shop friends bk in Australia. One of the bad apple. I don't need that intimidation when I can use the Internet at half the price for my titles. I like supporting the local shops. But not if they make me feel like a Rasputin. See you again on Tuesday. 3 strikes n I'm out... I buy every time. Typecast BS!. Talk soon... It's utterly my last chance.

Great wee shop in the city centre if you're into collectables but unfortunately let down by poor unhelpful staff. Came in today to ask for a mystery/blind bag as I couldn't see it in their shop (they had similar ranges in stock) and that particular blind bag was advertised on their website so I showed the staff a photo of it so they know what i'm referring to but he said they don't have it. Asked him when it's going to come in stock and he said he doesn't know. Asked him if they stock them in store or if they're sold out and he said he doesn't know. Not a lot of good customer service there since he keeps nodding his head and saying he doesn't know. What he should've done was pointed me in the right direction where to get them or find out when they get them in stock.
