Haven't had a Guinness in over 10 years, just sort of went off it....until the other day....when I had the most delicious creamy glass in Foleys. A real Irish pub feel inside
Great little bar with buckets of character and a fine pint of Guinness to boot.
Love this place. Just stopped in for a pint of Guinness, a very nice one it was too. Bumped in to a fellow musician who had seen me perform with the London Lasses some years previous at another lovely bar, Cryans in Carrick on Shannon. Had the best craic. And the price is very reasonable too. Will be back for sureService: 5/5
Great bar, lovely atmosphere and a great pint.
Brilliant bar. Really friendly locals. The owners are old school and so nice. I love the older look in this bar but the best part is the atmosphere. Always a good crowd.
Attached to this pub is a whiskey shop where we found our favorite whiskey for sale, Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve! We promptly made our purchase and the owner invited us over to the other side which is the pub. This is by far the most quaint pub experience we had in country. We really felt like we were getting a nice, small town pub experience in a nice sized city. Great visit.
It's such a shame cause of Covid we sat in a corner...I would of loved to have a Craic with the locals. The Guinness was gorgeous!!! Came back Sat 28th May things almost back to 'normal'...the Guinness is still gorgeous!!!
Went there back in October with the girlfriend whose family is from Sligo. A wonderful pint, so good I had to go back the next morning. The landlord's a great guy, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an Irish pub. I can't fault the Guinness, I will be returning and happily given them my custom on our next visit.

Probably the least pretentious place in Europe. Old and stuffy in charming sort of way, original decor, community oriented and plenty of TVs. Both friendly locals and barman. Nice for a cold Guiness and whatever sport floats your boat, schedule of sport posted out front of bar. Visited from New Zealand.
