Focus started out great but we were ultimately left very disappointed. They were able to fit us in at short notice after the mover we booked originally disappeared a week before our move. The price from Focus was good though we never got a receipt for the money we paid in spite of asking several times. The guys arrived on time and worked hard. Unfortunately, a wardrobe, bookshelf and wooden storage box were damaged beyond repair. Another wardrobe and a couple of other pieces of furniture required extensive repairs. They removed and lost the transit bolts from our washing machine and lost the metal clips holding a bed base together. In spite of agreeing that they had lost those items and promising that they would replace or reimburse us, Focus have done nothing. They don't respond to emails or phone calls. We haven't demanded reimbursement for the items damaged only those that were lost. By not keeping their word and not doing the right thing, Focus have lost any possibility of repeat business from us and we already discouraged a neighbour from using them. In summary, if you're looking for a removal company give Focus a miss.
From speaking to Megan on the phone, to getting the home survey done, right through to the lads on the home move team, the service was amazing. We went for the dismantling and mantling plus packing service. The team arrived on time, carefully packed everything, stored it overnight and completed the move first thing the next day. They worked so hard, they installed everything out the boxes in the right room, were really polite, friendly and just got things done. I can’t thank you all enough, we really enjoyed the experience.
From the very beginning, getting a quote to moving in, Focus have been by far the best removal firm I have used. They were very professional from start to finish and when I finish my rental to moving to my new build I will be using them again.
Dennis and Michael were exceptional movers and went above and beyond our expectations. They were very efficient and were extremely patient as the completion took longer than expected. Put everything where we needed it. Made everything go very smoothly.
Very pleased with overall service, from first booking through the office, Megan was very helpful and prompt in responding to emails, even changing dates, as my completion was delayed. Dennis, Luke and Sean, worked very hard moving me 250 miles to Scotland, nothing was too much trouble to them and they were very helpful and pleasant to use. Would definitely recommend.
Wow where to start,, Focus removals' moved our 4bed terrace in Hartlepool excellent service from start to finish everything packed in protective packaging and unpacked where we wanted it, great squad of lads very friendly who worked exceptionaly hard all day rely don't know what we would of done without them. We chose FOCUS partly for their quote, but also because my partner is ex forces, and we felt we'd receive a better standard of service from ex service personnel. We weren't wrong. From start to finish FOCUS were absolutely outstanding. The move was delayed twice due to on going work on the new property and the team took it all in their stride, nothing was any bother for them at any stage. On moving day itself, the van being used was smaller than needed for the job, but necessary as the new house is on a narrow street. 3 round trips and a full day of work later, John and Ryan had gone above and beyond our expectations. Absolutely cracking set of lads and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use FOCUS again. Thank you again for making a stressful event go as smoothly as it did.
I used Focus today to move my belongings. From start to finish they were brilliant. They came out to assess what needed to be moved and the quote was very reasonable. Two young men came in first thing and between them they loaded the van and packed everything very well and securely. They even loaded all my pot plants, even the very heavy ones. They were finished from start to finish in 5.5 hrs. Well done guys, I will highly recommend you and your firm. Thank you so much for today. .
