I've been eating pie and mash for nearly 60 years. This shop is now my nearest. The pies are how they should be very enjoyable.The service is welcoming and friendly. They offer stewed and jellied eels. Well worth the visit. Recommend.
Try the frozen pies, only £1.50 Each. Sometimes it's not always convenient to get to the shop. All I do is make my own mash I buy pies and liqueur, and put them in the freezer we can get 10 pies and mash for under £20. We pay more than that for McDonald's or pizza.

Best pie mash Iv had in years.. lovely and clean and really friendly staff.. also brought home made breadpudding to take away.. defiantly a must and will be going back very soon ...x

Nice place selling good pies, with very good pastry.
The eels were well cooked too, not over stewed.
