A really lovely site, had a peaceful night camping by the river whilst hiking Offas Dyke path. Thank you to both Sue and Dave the wardens for welcoming us. Great location, five minutes walk to shops.
The site is fab. Meet & greet team were super friendly. Easy to walk into town & the park & river were a fab walking place for the pooch. Only downside to it are the showers and toilets...they could really do with an overhall. Other than that it would be a lovely place to visit again.
Stayed here for 2 nights in our campervan. Nice friendly welcome, quite site on grass. Easy access to Kingston for local shops, pubs,cafes.nThe one think I didn't like was the toilet/ shower facilities, the water was hot but the rest was shabby and needs updating.
Have been going to Fleece Meadows several times over a number of years.nMike the owner, Dave Sue and Paul always give you a lovely welcome, the facilities are basic but very clean.nI have met some lovely seasonal campers over the years, being a solo motorhome camper I have found Kington very friendly, and lots of places to shop, and have a drink and food. 10/10.
Lovely quiet site close to Kington Town centre, facilities basic but very clean. Friendly warden/ caretaker. Very reasonable prices charged per person rather than per pitch. Would recommend.
