October visit so lovely colours. Great for walking with or without dogs. Endless different routes to walk. It has a visitors centre which was closed when we went (Sunday), play area and a trim fit outdoor exercise course if you feel up to it. Would recommend and will definitely go again.

The place itself is great for everyone including dog walkers but some people go jogging with their dogs off the lead running all over the place. I tend to walk here when my dog needs lead walks if she has a sprain etc but when dogs are roaming miles from their owner, there’s little control. They’re not always friendly either, most are for sure but my dog doesn’t always want a pack of dogs surrounding her and it’s unsettling when you cannot see their owner.

This place is a fun for kids and adults to take dogs to have a good run and kids can play on the park and get a snack in the visitors centre and walk round the woods on the woodland trail

Country park walking area on moors. It has a snack/ burger van in the car park. Which is very clean and the snacks foods are well priced with a range of hot and cold drinks. Great place for walking.
