I have always tried to avoid gyms, to be honest. Always felt a bit intimidated by the Gym Bunnies, the Body Beautiful and hindered by the inevitable dread at revealing my appalling middle-aged body, lack of coordination, strength and ability in such a public way. NOT ANY MORE!! I was advised to start doing weight- bearing exercise after some recent ill health and went along to Fit Missions after my wife had enjoyed the two week taster session. I started Cross Fit in December 2017 and have been a regular since! My fears of being judged and derided were groundless. Instead, I received lots of encouragement, instruction and masses of great advice. I found myself in a terrific community of people all performing at different levels of ability . Tom, Stu, Chud, Joe and Charlotte are a welcoming, engaging and very supportive team. They are genuinely interested in you and your development. They (and your classmates) really want you to succeed! I am fitter, stronger and a bit leaner (no more coordinated - but that's coming). Above all, I really cherish the feeling of well-being, increased confidence, lighter mood, etc. that I get from seeing an improvement in my posture, endurance and strength. Coming to Fit Missions could be one of the best things that I have ever done...

I joined Fit Missions last November wanting to ‘do something’ over the winter whilst my bike was packed away. It’s a fab place, the staff are so supportive but also so are the other users. The equipment is great, the classes are very frequent and accessible with early morning classes, evenings and even weekends. I go to the HIT classes, Crossfit and Spinning. All the exercises and classes are scaleable to your ability and it is about you.. and improving YOU both physically and mentally. I aim to train 5-7 times a week and I have seen a difference. My wife noticed what a difference it was making to my mood and health and has also joined., The coaches are approachable, and encouraging but also there to push you. I thought it would be something I just did until it was time for the bike to come out of the shed ( which will be soon) but I won’t be giving up Fit Missions.

Excellent little gym. It's Crossfit so don't expect a sauna, pool and fancy weight machines. What you do get in buckets loads is great all body workouts lead by enthusiastic and caring coaches and lots of comradery with the other gym goers.

This place is fantastic!!! All the coaches are lovely and exstreamly friendly !! As soon as you walk in to Fit Missions you feel at ease!! Love it 😍!! The whole experience for me is AWESOME!!!!! 👍🏻💪🏻🏋️ The smoothies are delicious too 😋!! Definitely value for Money!! 😊 Charlotte Main

Fit Missions is such a welcoming and friendly gym where all the coaches are very knowledgeable and supportive. I initially did the 2 week free trial and I am still going now 1 year on!
