I have a severe nut allergy and have struggled to find a chippy that can accommodate me to eat and that includes when I lived in Coventry. Moved to rugby 3 years ago my wife spoke on the phone to fishsmiths and they confidently reassured us that I can eat anything on the menu haven’t looked back since. The quality is always amazing regardless of what you choose and they delivery time is great aswell always welcomed with a smile when picking up a collection. Really appreciate how easy they have made it for me to enjoy a Friday night take away again with a severe nut allergy wouldn’t use anywhere else 10/10 Dietary restrictions: Great for allergy sufferers

Nice and clean friendly staff. Need more veggie options. The fish and chips was lovely.
Don't know if it's a new guy working there or not, it's the red haired fella with the very deep voice, but he literally counted the number of chips he put into my portion, and I was so dissapointed with the size of my portion £4.30 for 2 piece of chicken which was lovely and around 8-10 chips. I've never been treated like that at a chippy where they count how many chips they put in, usually a generous scoop of chips. I'll be sticking to my local chippy from now on.

Your fish & chips are great. I have dropped in times on the way thru. I ordered a 'Doner' Kebab this evening and it was a shambles your staff member dropped the ball. First the lady took my £6 from my card .. no problem .. then she filled a paper bag with all the salad from every bowl !! odd i thought .. Then i watched as she filled a polystyrene box with kebab meat from the heater.. I spoke to her and repeated my order. I animated that a 'Doner' comes as a toated pitta, usually filled with letuce, cucumber and tomato and the meat. So she chalenged me, saying that she had asked me bla bla bla , i could not understand her very well. I told her that i could hardly understand her, and she apologised. She emptied the meat back into the heater and then put what i asume was a toasted pitta small into a smaller polly tray! she then put meat from the heater unto it. She asked if i wanted Chillie sauce, I said yes please, just a bit ..... In front of my eyes, she smothered it in Chillie ! .. She absolutely spoilt this dinner. I got home and had to scrape a load of it off. The salad had gone quite slimey in the paper bag and the poly tray had a bit of a pong to it. ... They say youre only as good as your last job ... This performance was disapointing ... uncaring staff member, cant converse in clear English ... she should understand that if you provide a service, you should listen carefully to your customer. A proper Doner Kebab should be wrapped in paper, not boxed in stinky polystyrene .. and large means large. Photo with chillie sauce spooned off, slimey salad tipped from the bag onto plate, and theres a tiny pitta under there somewhere. Dissapointed with staff member... doesnt listen, doesnt understand or speak English well. £6 wasted.
Called in tonight for fish and chips. The best fish and crispiest batter we have had in a long while. Good price too! Parking: Easy to park
Food is always great portion sizes are very good price is good too staff are always politely spoken highly recommend.Even has outside seating area for eating as well. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are very good value for money Parking: Can be a bit hard to get a parking space at busy times as next to local shops but then you can get that any place. Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are ample wide enough Dietary restrictions: Menu does state for dietary needs
Fish and chips alway good here. Juat tried the half pounder burger the other day. It was amazing.Food: 4/5
