After a 4 hour drive from Peterborough we looked up the best rated fish shop in the area and it bought us to Fishnets. A warm welcome from the moment we opened the door. Friendly staff who were happy to chat while our food was cooking. Super tasty fish and chips and a perfect portion size too. Definitely worth its high rating and we will be sure to visit again when we are in the area next time. Top tip.... Get the mushy peas as they are just devine poured on the fish!

Top quality fish and chips. Never greasy and very generous portion sizes - a large cod and chips is enough for two of us. I dread when they close for holidays as there is nowhere local that comes close to their quality.

You will not find better fish and chips on the planet. I don't like the curry sauce but mother loves it. We have really missed our weekly fish and chips treat on a Saturday throughout lockdown.
