We have just spent our anniversary and the Christmas break package at Fishers , we’ve found our stay from arriving to leaving very comfortable indeed, the room we were allocated was very spacious with a great size bathroom and also a huge comfy bed, it was spotlessly clean and maintained to high standard. We’ve enjoyed Christmas with literally everything provided, fruit, sweets in the foyer throughout our stay. We found the meals served were delicious and varied, the staff worked so efficiently considering the large party being served, cannot fault the choice for breakfast either. The seating areas throughout are comfortable and kept warm via lovely real log fires, a really lovely relaxing atmosphere. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, they worked tirelessly throughout Christmas to make us comfortable, thank you. We really wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Bedrooms are spacious and have a lot of room in them. The room was clean and up to a great standard. A few small details that can be fixed to make sure the bedroom are excellent standard such as the bathroom where they have moved a radiator. Great hotel and very well ran. Breakfast was good and had a big spread for the continental breakfast. Also you had a choice of a hot breakfast in which they took your order and it was ready in about 5 minutes. The grounds were beautiful and on the Main Street of Pitlochry. Would recommend if you are staying in the local area.
First the negatives, hotel could benefit with upgrading in some areas. Car park is too small to accommodate number of guests. Now the positives, hotel is located on high Street in Pitlochry and found very easily. Additional car parking available with minimal charge 5-10 minutes walk. Hotel runs "murder mystery" nights. We had never been to one before but to be honest we had an absolute blast. £75 per person price for this includes 3 course evening meal bed and breakfast as well as the entertainment, amazing value for money. Hotel was clean, staff helpful and pleasant and food good. Wide range of alcohol to suit all tastes and entertainment available locally in nearby bar. All in all I'd be happy to book again and I do not say that for everywhere I go! So, as you can see more positives than negatives, so just visit!
A nice quiet room in a perfectly situated hotel on the main street in Pitlochry. Breakfast was tasty, even if the choice is slightly limited it was cooked to perfection. We had a lovely quiet room on the second floor. We ordered evening meal and it was very nice, well cooked and reasonably priced. Couldn't really fault, for a three star hotel it delivers and is very good value for money.
Hotel rooms so spacious and clean. Staff very nice, always helpful. Hotel bars were great, breakfast was plentiful with both cooked Scottish breakfast and Mediterranean style buffet offerings. Restaurant food not great but arguably made up by the staying experience. Would highly recommend.
Room was nice ,cooked breakfast was quite good although sausages were look warm ,We had to leave after first night because of a medical emergency,and because our medical emergency did not give us 48 hours warning we were not entitled to even part of our ,£125 for the night to be refunded.Empathy and compassion mmmm none. although the very nice lady on the reception desk was lovely when I handed the keys in ,as with most large companies it is the small people who keep the wheels turning and customers happy, not the top dogs To the lady on reception Thank you very much
Bought Overnight Winter Break- Bed Breakfast Evening Meal as Golden Wedding gift for sister and brother in law, Room was standard, The sumptuous 3 course evening meal came with a supplement . I can understand one item having supplement but on their menu it was all but one that had a sliding scale supplement. Their options were severely limited without incurring additional fees over, 3 courses Would not recommend this hotel.
I had visitors from Australia, so booked a party of 10 for the Christmas break, what can I say starting with check in well prepared speedy check in and a wee nip. Went to our room, on the 2nd floor, fantastic, clean spacious and could not fault it. Food was fantastic with menu changed daily, well thought out with something for Everyone. The staff were friendly, efficient and a credit to the hotel
Not a bad room. Finding the room was a challenge as it’s an old building. Room was on first floor but seemed more like floor one and a half. Good gin bar and a great location. I recommend the food from the bar rather than the restaurant. Breakfast was great
Very handy for the local amenities. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious although the general toilet could have done with being cleaned more. There was plenty to see in the surrounding area. Would like to add I would come again as enjoyed my break here.Rooms: 4/5
