Fantastic venue, with very professional plays. There are two theatres, one regular, and an much more intimate smaller theatre. If you ever find yourself passing through Pitlochry I'd recommend having a look to see if there's anything that interests you.
Nice spot to break a journey up the A9. Reasonable coffee, clean toilets and a great view! If you’re lucky there might be a performance in the garden..
We travelled to Pitlockery twice in the space of a week to watch two brilliant playsPrivate Lives & Noises Off. Haven't laughed that much for a long time. It is well worth the trip to Pitlockery Festival Theatre as they put on some really quality plays and need our support to keep Theatres like these that don't have a large population close by alive.
I went with my boyfriend to see Peter Pan and We really enjoyed it. Facilities were amazing and very friendly staff. We will come back. Actors were also very professional.
Went to see Wendy and Peter Pan. There were 3 generations. From young to old everyone had a great time. There is a cafe, we had coffees. Staff very pleasant. Small theatre with a huge likeability. Lovely experience, will be back again sometime.
Peter Pan and Wendy, What a fantastic performance!!! Absolutely loved it My only complaint!!!! MY MISTAKE!!! I booked a midweek afternoon performance with no kids in audience!! I was desperate to shout the obligatory ‘boos! hiss! ‘ but was embarrassed to do so with an all adult audience!!! Extremely talented cast which had us spell bound and totally caught up in the story, extremely well done. Can’t wait to see what is on offer for 2023 x
The show was really excellent but the auditorium was very cold indeed. I noticed that most of the audience - including me - had their coats on throughout the performance. We spoke to one of the actors after the show & even he said it was freezing!
Excellent venue, friendly staff, comfy seats and parking right outside.
An amazing entertainment venue historically located right beside the Dam. Includes a Cafè which serves standard fare such as sandwiches and soups, as well as great caffeinated beverages. It is only let down by the absence of home baking, which it did used to offer in yesteryears. The breakfast pastries were however very tasty indeed.
Watching a show at Pitlochry Festival Theatre is one of my favourite day trips. The productions have have always been excellent and the staff friendly. With the new covid measures they've adapted tremendously and I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to attend an outdoor performance with my 6 month old daughter. I didn't have to worry about her making noise as we sat at the back and had plenty of space to walk her if she became unsettled. Looking forward to attending more indoor and outdoor performance in future!
